Authorize.net, 2CO or Stripe?

Yeah, I know that the T&C are always vague...

Thanks for the info. I'm going to apply to 2CO before the end of the month. If they reject me at least I'll know not to bother with them again :)

Cheers!

If they reject you, like, don't take it personally. You can always try editing your site, or keep them in mind for a future/different website.

Only gaypal should be hated personally and deeply :D

lol you really hate paypal :)

I won't take it personally, but I don't like dancing to how others sing, either, so if they reject my application I'll probably write them off as an option

And the internet is as close as you can get to banking without dancing to how others sing. I know, that's why I do it too.

But payment processing, you can't get around that (except crypto, but it's not enough). You gonna have to dance brother :)

This Bob Dylan guy says that even the president of the United States sometimes must have to stand naked. I don't know man... :p

I like Dylan, he's a talented chap. And he's right about the US president. In the US the rich make the rules, not the politicians or the government, or the president

As for dancing... well, yeah, I will dance, but only if there's monopoly. Otherwise, no thanks :)

So I had this thread in my browser bookmarks, and I'm doing a bit of cleaning so I found it.

I guess I had it bookmarked to see how it would turn out :D

@tazarbm how did it turn out?

this has been more than an year ago, I have no idea what we were discussing lol. I can see that we talked about paypal, and how the wealthy make the rules in the US, and how bob dylan is cool, but I don't remember what the main idea was. Care to refresh my memory? :)

valid point LOL

Anyway, I now know what you mean... But I haven't used any of these gateways in the end, I don't remember why. I think, one of them (authorize or 2CO, I don't remember which one) were not accepting affiliate sites... or maybe certain niches... I don't remember.

Also, I think they were asking for some monthly payment ($25 or something like that) in order to use their payment processor and I wasn't ok with that.

And lastly, shortly after opening up this thread I have found another payment process (paymentwall) that seemed better for me. But I haven't used PW either, so I can't provide any feedback if that's what you want to know :)

Cool. Gotcha. Asked and answered. Cheers :)

I don't have a US company how to successfully register with the authorize.net payment gateway?

Out of the three I think Authorize.net would be best.

I know I should go into detail why I think that, but I really don't feel like it.

2co is good, I use it. Very limiting in what you can sell with it though. Their website kinda sucks to find your way.

Stripe, I mean, isn't it like gaypal, two sides of the same coin? Can't say, I never used Stripe.

Authorize.net though I feel good about. One of my customers after getting fucked by gaypal too many times started using Authorize.net, and he's very happy with it.
can you tell me to use authorize.net payment gateway is the account verification process strict?
I sell digital and take risks.
And when I use it, where can I withdraw my money?
Hope to get a good reply from you.

My first recommendation is Authorize.net, My second is 2CO, please, please, please, never settle for stripe. Stripe will make you run out of business, it’s no difference from PayPal.

can you elaborate?

Authorize.net is a high risk merchant, they support almost all types of businesses, and they also support high risk businesses. High risk businesses are businesses termed or deemed high risk by payment processors e.g SEO, dropshipping, casino, etc. And they’re also transparent in terms of everything. The customer service is good. You’ll only find 1 out of 10 cases of any merchant account getting banned. You need to really do something bad before your account gets disabled.

2CO doesn’t support all businesses and they’re not high risk, when it comes to onboarding, the take almost forever. You’ll have to submit series of paperwork during verification, and you might still be rejected at some point. 2CO is best for certain businesses. But overall they’re okay.

Stripe has a very poor customer service being controlled by bots and automation. Your account can easily get disabled for no reason even when you’re innocent. They’re payout is 50/50, most times you might need to wait longer than the expected date. Stripe doesn’t support high risk businesses, and most times low risk businesses still get disabled without violating any rules. Stripe disables your account and would find an excuse for that, some of their excuses are, “we noticed that your business might be high risked in future, that’s why we can’t support your business anymore”. Stripe makes PayPal look like a saint.

so many businesses are leaving stripe. If you’re a big company, then go for stripe because they’re biased and only support top companies. If you’re a small business please I won’t advice taking your business to stripe.
In summary, I’ll recommend either Authorize.net or 2CO.

hope these helps.

Is the verification process rigorous?
because I'm an individual and not a US citizen

First you’ll need to register your business in the United States. That’s getting an LLC. Can’t really tell if the process is rigorous or not, but I think it’s okay and fair. They’re straight forward. You might use a Permit, drivers license, or passport during the verification.
