The word decentralized sounds very sexy but i dont think anyone would let finance and tech two of the major economies to be decentralized. Therefore we might see rise of AI driven tech we could only hope for the decentralized socio-economic world without a conflict. Example of Chinese 5G is enough to understand whose stakes are at risk?

There's still a huge number of issues that need to be solved before the internet can become decentralized in any kind of significant way.

Certain projects are now in place to contribute to solving some of those problems, but people sometimes get hung up on the word 'decentralization' without even really knowing what that would look like or what the drawbacks are.

Blockchain is undoubtedly revolutionary for many financial applications, for example, but try running websites using blockchains compared to normal old relational databases. They suffer from a range of huge drawbacks for many applications.

What is DeFi?

Again as much as this sounds very pleasant, does not have the POWER or the political backing. You really think it's that simple to discard the existing economic system with the decentralized one. No doubt technology is mind blowing and ground breaking but there is a long hard road to adoption.

I think this is the essence of the app, without recover keyphrase, without techie things, so anyone can adopt it just with a phone number. I mean even for me when I work the first time with ledger was like Star Trek stuff, imagine a random guy which thinks the internet it's just Facebook, Google, and YouTube how hard is to work with.
