Reddit Users. Breathtaking...

BREAKING FUCKING NEWS

I THINK WSB IS A COORDINATED THING BY MAJOR SPECULATORS

For some reason I had a feeling WSB was not organic.

Maybe too much time doing IM and having to fence off in online forums.... but something tells me the WSB story is fishy.

The main guy spreading WSB messages on Twitter is too damn clever, too smart, too sophisticated to be just a self described fast food employee..... No offense to fast food employees, but..... just that this is too fishy to be true

A guy living in a truck made U$ 100k but won't sell? Someone flipping burgers is holding on to a million dollars just for a cause?

Fuck this. This is fake. Someone big is behind this.

You heard it here first. WSB is probably a coordinated pump and dump being disguised as a bunch of selfless nerds.

Nope, some of them actually think this will go a lot higher, so they won't sell. Why would you sell at 100k if you had a strong feeling you could make a million?

Some of them will be overinflated egos, they won't have a million. They are just claiming to do so.

WSB actually has some mathematicians on, they have some extremely intelligent people with qualifications.

I've been following them for years, and they have made good predictions over and over again.

The way they work is, they evaluate the assets/liabilities ect of a company, and determine if the shares are undervalued or not, if undervalued, they buy.

They determined that gamestop was massively undervalued, not just that, but they saw wallstreet short account for over 100% of the shares, this was an incredibly risky move from wallstreet themselves, and it's being abused. Redditers figured out that all they needed to do was make the price move and the rocket would fly due to how undervalued the shares were.

What's happened with them buying GME, they've been doing this for years, it's just this time, wallstreet made one big fatal mistake, and they are abusing the hell out of it knowing that wall street can't back out.

I get you.

It's a very idealistic thing but.....

I gotta hunch there's more to it than meets the eye.

I don't believe this for a second.
That's okay, it matters not at all if you believe me or not - doesn't seem like you frequent the seedier parts of the internet where the trolls roam (not a bad thing). They think this is hilarious and many are happy to hold into oblivion. I won't try to convince you, and yes there are quite a few people who will get caught in the crossfire because they didn't research *why* the stock is exploding and for some reason think this will end with everyone printing money--it looks like easy gains. Many of them will get burned before all is said and done, but anyone who invests more than they can afford to lose shouldn't invest in the first place--which is the message being sent to Melvin Capital, Citadel and the others up the chain right now. No matter how this pans out, Melvin Capital and Citadel are going to walk away wounded - or the government is going to bail them out and sew even more discontent and distrust, and Robinhood will likely wind up bankrupt as the name is horrendously tarnished. Hopefully some will end up in jail for interfering with the free market, though not likely. All of this was worth the price of admission.

I think you're missing the point that most don't even care who gets rich - they're destroying an entity that sets the rules that screws over the little guy and are bringing the massive corruption and shadiness that goes on at those levels to light. I hope the owners of gamestock make hundreds of millions (or not, I don't care), and I hope those who rigged the system so the little guy loses go bankrupt (main goal). I'll throw a few hundred bucks at that any day - as will many, many others

The system is not rigged for people to go bankrupt and its not rigged. The little guy screws himself over, not the rich.

I never said the little guy would go bankrupt. I said "I hope those who rigged the system so the little guy loses... go bankrupt." But in the US you pretty much need to invest in the stock market to survive or thrive. Guess who makes the rules? Not the little guy. Guess who changes the rules when things don't go their way? Certainly not the little guy. As soon as a group of people get together and figure out how to make a profit, they get shut down for using the exact same tactics as giant hedge funds. What part of that is ok? If you think it's fine feel free to continue on, but can't hate people for thinking blackhat and screwing over the top of the ladder - not on a blackhat forum, at least. There's a club of *very* wealthy people, and you and I aren't in it. They don't care about you, and they don't like you - or any of us. Feel free to not participate in screwing them over, but it sure is fun and cheap.

They determined that gamestop was massively undervalue

gamestop shares weren't undervalued by any stretch, they were indeed overvalued like the short sellers hedge funds correctly estimated

Redditers figured out that all they needed to do was make the price move and the rocket would fly due to how undervalued the shares were.

They announced their positions on a public forum in an coordinated effort to try encouraging others to buy into similar positions, thereby creating a self-fulfilling prophecy - a market manipulation 101.

Market manipulation is illegal which is why RobinHood as well as other brokers were forced to halt action on GME stocks (it's written in their T&C as obligated by law).

BREAKING FUCKING NEWS
Etc...

...and so on
Who is that "main guy" that you're referring to? Just curious.

BTW, Justin Sun said he will buy $1million worth of GME, then $10millions would be more appropriate, and he will buy "when markets open here". No sign that he actually bought anything yet.

What makes you think they weren't undervalued?

I'm just speculating

But what if we in BHW make a move ourselves?

Although the consequences may be disastrous - I think this community has the same power as WSB, or even more, to disrupt markets.

You're kidding... right?

Just another guy spreading misinformation to get the guy at the bottom to think he is on their side when really he is just taking their money.

This (5 years trend):

https://www.google.com/search?q=gme+stock+price&oq=gme&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i57j0i395j0i10i395j0i395j69i60l3.2065j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
And the fact that their business model fundamentals has been steadily declining for the past several years, obviously unable to offer a solution:

https://www.chartmill.com/stock/quote/GME/fundamental-analysis
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GameStop#Decline_(2016%E2%80%93present)

That's not how you determine if a business is undervalued or overvalued. It would be mental to even think that.

You determine it by the cashflow, the assets and the liabilities.

yeah let's just say Reddit is a realm that exists independtly of the outside world :D

And that's exactly what has been assessed by the market and reflected in their shares price trend, what are you even on about?
And we aren't assessing only the net of what a business is worth, but the price of its public shares which does include many other factors.
GME shares were not undervalued by any stretch and short selling was for a good, fundamental reason.
