They've crippled billionaires, they've become millionaires, they are bringing down RobinHood, they've brought it down to 1 star on app store and google are now getting involved. They are now filing class action lawsuits against Robinhood.

Justin Sun has joined in with GME, the US governments involved, the UK financial authorities are involved, the Asian markets are now joining in.

What the hell can these guys not do? This is turning into a global threat against the billionaire hedge fund owners. They are the ones who FEAR every trade now. Meanwhile on reddit? They are partying and laughing.

Oh the tables have turned...

Mark Cohen caught for insider trading with his first hedge fund loses billions, crying about how reddit users are breaking the rules. oh the karma...

How long before the SEC try taking down wallstreetbets? I wonder what WSB's collective response will be if they attempt a shutdown.

There's an ebb and flow to this.

Remember when Digg users revolted against the social network's decision to censor HD DVD DRM decryption keys. Eventually the community stopped rebelling and it faded away before Digg made the terrible decision to redesign the site and ended up killing it.

Same thing for Reddit - people get all excited and passionate, and then it fades away and in 3 months we'll all have forgotten about this, & hedge fund companies will have bought Robinhood and set up alerts so they can tell when there's a sudden spike in positions they're holding.

For some reason I had a feeling WSB was not organic.

Maybe too much time doing IM and having to fence off in online forums.... but something tells me the WSB story is fishy.

The main guy spreading WSB messages on Twitter is too damn clever, too smart, too sophisticated to be just a self described fast food employee..... No offense to fast food employees, but..... just that this is too fishy to be true

A guy living in a truck made U$ 100k but won't sell? Someone flipping burgers is holding on to a million dollars just for a cause?

Fuck this. This is fake. Someone big is behind this.

Most people I know doing this aren't in it to make any money, most don't even care if they lose everything they put in - they're just sick of the big boys making the rules and cheating the system when it works in their favor. They're delighted watching the worms that run these giant corps squirm, and most are only throwing in their free money they got from our stimulus. There's nothing fake about the massive losses they've caused. I mean I could be wrong but even if some get rich, most people simply don't care in this case - it's hilarious watching the tables turned.

I think you're missing the point that most don't even care who gets rich - they're destroying an entity that sets the rules that screws over the little guy and are bringing the massive corruption and shadiness that goes on at those levels to light. I hope the owners of gamestock make hundreds of millions (or not, I don't care), and I hope those who rigged the system so the little guy loses go bankrupt (main goal). I'll throw a few hundred bucks at that any day - as will many, many others
