How long till #shorts get published?

Hello, I started to publish short videos on my channels yesterday but till now, ay of the videos got views from shorts.

Does it take a time till one (or more) of them gets views?

Most shorts take 3 - 4 days to pick up.

I delete mine, if they don't take off within 2 weeks.

Thank you! Just saw that 1 of my shorts got views today, published 3 days ago! Do you activate monetization for shorts or not? Do you know if this has anything to do with them getting picked up? I know shorts doesn't monetize but eventually, some of my subscribers click on the video and I can get a few dollars (I don't send notifications on my shorts).

Shorts also don’t contribute to YouTube’s Partner Program eligibility, but subscribers gained from watching your Shorts still count toward the eligibility threshold.

It's really random, but I would say only 1/5 or so actually get views from shorts imo
