How safe is tokenized stocks?

I dont live in US so i cant buy stocks with the normal way.

And i saw something called tokenized stocks.

I want to buy it if its safe (i will hold my us stock portfolio for over 5 years)

Can anyone give me some information about tokenized stocks safety? Thanks

I would never accept financial advise from strangers.

Just seen this thread. Answer is NO. I bet you've seen stuff like Bittrex selling GME tokenized stocks.
They are not the same thing as the real GME.
It's just like USDT, a token on a blockhain, but you can't go with USDT and buy a t-shirt in physical stores.
With tokenized stocks you can only trade in that specific exchange (or exchanges that accept that stock) but you can't go on Wall Street and trade them for the real stocks.

You mean STOs? Yes, its just a matter of time until all companies will start doing STOs instead of IPOs. The infrastructure is all set-up

They're blockchain-based synthetic stocks, and while you can't trade them on wall street, they are designed to hold the same value as their underlying assets, and because they are tradable on decentralized exchanges, no one can stop you from trading them.

You can't walk into a shop today and spend USDT, but you can easily liquidate it for fiat, and in the not to distant future, spending stablecoins in retail stores will be as normal as using a credit card is today.

You mean STOs
STOs are similar, but not the same as tokenized stocks. STOs never got the kind of momentum I think they should have.

I'm not in any way trying to say they have no value, or that USDT is worthless. I'm pretty sure you can't liquidate GME stocks from Bittrex for GME Wall Street stocks.
My post was for OP, who said

So, no, they are not stocks like stocks that you buy with the normal way.

I should've phrased it differently in the previous post, it sounds like is not safe to buy tokenized stocks, now that I re-read it lol
Of course one can buy anything listed on the exchange, trade it and make a profit.
And, in the end, trade it for Fiat.. currencies (not stocks yet).
