Great AMA and timely too
I have 2 sets of questions:

Auto blogging:
1a. Is auto blogging still viable?
1b. If so, is it better to go small niche or authority?
1c. What are the best options to monetize Autoblogs?

Authority Blog
2a. I haven't heard you recommend WPBakery Page builder. What do you not like about it?

I sent you a Contact PM for 2 questions which I don't want out here

If you run a bigger site, and need to choose between these 2 slug options, which one do you prefer, and why?

A: domain.com/%category%/%postname%/
B: domain.com/%category%/%post_id%/

I've always choose A.

However, my new project will have significantly more contents from a dozen writers. Let's say 1K+ posts and growing. And, with my fear of slug duplication problem convinces me to go for option B.

What do you think?

Generated with mythemeshop.com/themes/schema

I would recommend you to use Schema Pro, rather than the built-in features of the Schema theme.
This might fix the error, as I think the control over the Schema settings on the theme itself is quite basic.

Since you're still replying the questions, one of my site states (javascript void 0) when i try to click on the menu button. What could be the probable issue for the same?

Rest everything seems perfect but the menu button doesnt work

https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/
Please check this article.

This is mostly caused by a theme or plugin, you can check that from your browser console. :)
It would help to troubleshoot the issue by disabling the plugins one by one and switch back to the original theme temporarily.
Make sure to make a backup of your WP dashboard before trying this.

Sorry to jump in again. But do you know a theme very similar to nelL patel?

I love to use SEOCify for this:
https://themeforest.net/item/seocify-seo-and-digital-marketing-agency-wordpress-theme/22613339
Are the content readable when using WP Robot? Also I thought it wasnt good with SEO, no?

What are your thought on google cracking down on spun websites?

Use it on churn and burn websites. Believe me, it works in 2021.
Some content is not completely readable but I don't care too much. For example, one of my biggest converting niches is converting affiliates for digital products.
Around 80% is readable, but people click on Ad-sense banners and affiliated partner links. (think out free downloads to ebook links, I created a website where I scraped the entire library of a large ebook webshop, description has been spinned and proofread by an external agency, you can set it up like: scrape --> auto rewrite and save as draft, next I hired a VA connected to my WP scheduler plugin to proofread the content by a VA, he publishes the article and there you go, a brand new article for less than a coffee and auto indexed pretty soon @ Google. Some websites revive 12 days, some 3-4 months), you have to be a little bit creative and giving your own twist to this method. ;)

What is best and easiest method to make something like this: https://versus.com/en/asus-rog-strix-geforce-rtx-3090-gamin-oc-vs-msi-geforce-rtx-3090-gaming-x-trio on a wordpress website?

So comparison between devices, for example if I have 20 devices each would compare with each so that would be close to 400 comparisons. Any way this can be done without hiring professional? Some good plugins for this or what is the best way to go about it? Thanks!

Something like this? ;)
https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-products-compare/
Is it worth switching from Nginx to Litespeed?

Oh yeah man, you will like it. Around 80% of my websites are running on Litespeed servers.

@Festinger , I forget the username and password for the Cpanel. I can't able to upload files though cpanel. Which is the best plugin that we can use to upload huge file size directly to WP.

If you forgot the password of cPanel, you'll have to contact your host and ask him to reset your cPanel password. ;)

Festinger, you're like a WordPress Jesus here, so share some experience of yours with page builders

The thing is - Gutenberg is not nearly as slick as Elementor, but I noticed that Elementor significantly slows down your website (even if you use optimization plugins)

Do you have the same experience of there's any other page builder that you'd advise trying?

P.s - beaver builder isn't better nor quicker, so this one is out of the question for me :)

If you want to use a page builder, have a look at the Oxygen builder, it's optimized for page speed. :)

  1. Yes, auto-blogging is still vital if you can give your own twist to it. Above this comment, I gave a sneak peek of how I use this on one of my websites.
  2. I prefer to focus on broad niches.
  3. Affiliate links work the best for me.
  4. Too complex, bloated, and loads too many sources which have a huge impact on your SEO score.

If you run a bigger site, and need to choose between these 2 slug options, which one do you prefer, and why?

A: domain.com/%category%/%postname%/

What do you think?

I will never choose for a %post_id% format, as it really sucks for SEO and readability for your website and Google indexation.
If you use WordPress, a duplicated slug will never end in the same article, as WordPress automatically adds a domain.com/article-name-2 to the duplicated article.

What business do you run off wordpress?

Affiliate websites and I do have an offline job as well ;)

What's the recommended WP theme that is easy to modify and still stay strong and light weight? One that will be deployed for an Authority Website

Hey, I've read this thread and saw you responded to some e-commerce based questions and I saw that you have some previous threads, so sorry if you already got asked this in some way but I'm back in the game and I would like to get some fresh perspective on this one.

In the past, I've used WordPress for all my projects I had and I know how to handle a WordPress website but never did an e-commerce one. I was just looking and tested a few things but I haven't touched this area back then to release something, just playing around.

Now I want to jump into dropshipping and I'm thinking about WordPress vs Shopify.

I never used Shopify because you have to pay monthly for it, I always thought you don't have the "liberty" to make it exactly how you want, fewer plugins, etc.

Now I saw that they have better-looking themes and already optimized for better conversions like shoptimized, boostertheme, ecomturbo, etc. Or some other themes and some separate plugins.

Now, for WordPress, is there anything already optimized for conversions like those themes? Or some good plugins to make better conversions? (have you answered this question or do you have a list to make those " offer ends up in.. " , " X are viewing this right now " , " only 2 in stock ", coupons, etc ) ?

I know that it make take more time setting up an e-commerce shop with WordPress than Shopify, but what would you choose? I always saw everyone using Shopify in every youtube videos or in any paid videos here or on other websites.

What's your perspective on this one? What do you think would be better without thinking what would be easier to set-up or cheaper. I want the idea of setting up something for the long term.

Thank you!

Hey, you shared a list of your recommended (must have) plugins for wordpress/woocommerce a few months earlier. I am trying to look for it, but can't seem to find it. Can you share the link or share a new list?

What are the best plugins to create funnels using builder + one click upsell with WP?
What is the best theme and plugins for woocommerce (branded store) and what is the best theme to use for a one product store?
What are the best practices and the fastest way to create websites for clients?

Thanks!

Use an optimized host such as ServeBolt or Cloudways (with Vultr servers), make use of MariaDB, Litespeed, servers.
Dont use any external API functions that use a lot of server CPU,.
I guess you have a working development knowledge in the presented field. What's the best way to pull content out of the WordPress completely and at the same time do it safely from an SEO perspective?
I've tried gatsby with graphql but it feels like rewriting front-end from the beginning without characteristic SEO benefits of WordPress. At least without correctly prepared templates.

1. What do you think about physical silo structure? Any recommended plugins?

2. Best page view plugin that works with cache? Performance is the highest priority. Fancy reports are second. Ability to separate real visitors/spammers is close third.

3. Can you recommend a plugin for pros/cons section, and product comparison table of product review post?

4. Please name 5 of your favorite sites made by wordpress.

Hello sir!
First of all I extend my thanks to you as you are helping many.
Now this is my first ever post here and I hope it goes all well.
I created asked someone to make a website which they did but it has not been ranking very well. Please help me in the following areas:
1. List of plugins I would need (example SEO, Fast loading, Cache, Schema etc)
2. My website looks bad, at least that's what I think so take a look at my website and suggest any theme suitable for articles like Hacking, Technology and Games but it should be the best theme for SEO as well.
3. Do you have any tips to make the website rank as I work really hard to create content but it does not get ranked.
4. Tell me anything else that I should know, be as brief as possible my friend.
My websi techrorschach .com

I Thank you very much in advance as you have been helping a lot people and that's what tells so much about a person. I really wish that you may have all the happiness, never fail and don't choose the wrong path ever in your life!

I would use Elementor Pro + Astra Theme + Astra Pro for this. All are very lightweight and highly customizable.

If you want to choose for ease and don't mind paying >$15 per month, I would say, go with Shopify. Please note that most of their apps do not have a lot of customization features, so features are basic.
If you want a more feature-rich environment, go with WooCommerce and the Shoptimizer theme, https://www.commercegurus.com/product/shoptimizer/

I hope this answers your question :)

Sorry I cannot find it either :P Maybe some BHW member saved it to his / her bookmarks, let's hope!

I love ClickFunnels: https://www.clickfunnels.com/
I love Woodmart theme + Shoptimizer theme.
Setup a basic theme + basic configurations, like the Astra Pro theme (free to download here).
You can import demo content based on different niches, which is quite helpful to develop nice websites in a short period of time.
This can also be used on the major themes of ThemeForest, such like the X theme.

I am loving this solution to pull data from WordPress database into API.
https://apisentris.com/
I love to work with API connections.

  1. I just came across this article a while ago and in give an in-depth answer to your question :) https://nichesiteproject.com/seo/wordpress-silos - I am using the same tactic too.
  2. Go with this one, lightweight plugin and works with the major caching systems: https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-page-visit-counter/
  3. I always make my pro/cons with Elementor Pro and the same for product comparison tables. :)
  4. I don't have a personal favorite of WP sites, but I love the progress of 'lightweight' themes development. No bloated plugins with unuseful features.

Sir @Festinger is this still opened? I have a tiny issue I need assistance with lol

Sorry, where are you referring to? :)

Advise please community plugin for WP. I'm looking towards buddyboss now

You already got the most advanced one, the BuddyBoss one with BB theme is a really good solution.
The only downside of using it is the limited integration with other themes/plugins.

I am glad you found this topic and I'll do my best to answer your questions.
  1. The SEO Framework, Litespeed caching plugin (make sure to choose for Litespeed hosting), Schema Pro, a basic and good coded theme (such as GeneratePress).
  2. Go with the NewsPaper theme as you can customize it according to your needs and it's a well-optimized theme for 'news' related websites.
  3. This question cannot be answered with one line. :P Link building, good content, 'creating Google juiced content' is what you need. Also, choose a decent host and make sure to make rid of any plugin you don't need. The lesser the plugins, the better the performance.
  4. Sorry, I do not do analyzes of individual websites due to the limitation of time at this moment.

Best plugin to make a course for your website? Best email marketing plugin?

Best course plugin IMHO: https://www.learndash.com/
Best email marketing plugin: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/

Do you think removing the trailing slash at the end of the url will give duplicate content issue in google search?
