Hey,

Not sure if this appropriate thread to post at, but let's try.

I ran Lead Gen ads directing people to FB Messenger.

All was going well until FB slapped us with the MESSENGER POLICY update. Performance dropped, so we switched to email.

This is where things fell apart.

Out of 30 leads who signed up with their email we received 0 replies...

Mind you, the first email prospect receives is follow up questions. In Facebook Messenger almost everyone reply back.

Almost feels like I am sending these emails into vacuum.

Bounce rate looks good (less than 1%)

No matter how much testing I do, the emails hit main inbox (using AWS mailer).

Is it that people don't check emails anymore?

Should I try to book a live call?

Thanks,

According to my broadcasts, people check emails and read/open same email offers several times during up to 4 day period after sending.

Could be your audience/business specifics.

What are open rates?

I mean, everyone reads email - you get bills and other important stuff that you don't get on Messenger.

In my opinion most emails are not read. At least end user can do that following:
Look through the titles.
If something really catchy or important he/she will look through email and only after looking through some small %% of emails are being read in full.

They are not replying because messenger is easy to access.
People / users likes easy access things. Besides of all they may be hit by email spammers before.
