For those worried about managing your server then I recommend using Runcloud. It’s great if you have several servers to manage.

Vultr is well-liked by many. Depends on what your criteria and needs are as far as how it compares to other price/performance wise.

That is of course, the performance of VPS vutr is much better. Only Vultr's bandwidth cost is quite high.

Cyberpanel is free, it is a complete webhosting panel that works with Litespeed. Litespeed has 2 versions, a free one and a paid one. The free one is already very good, the paid one only has some extra options for Magento and Prestashop.
Litespeed is so much faster than Apache. I really don't understand that people still use Apache.
Most of my Wordpress websites loaded in 2-3 sec with caching plugins on Apache. With Litespeed and their caching plugin all my websites load under 1 sec.
Cyberpanel is easy to install on a VPS if you follow the instructions on their website. They use a script that installs everything in a couple of minutes.

This is great stuff. I always thought lite speed was a paid product and didn’t know they had a free version. I might have to spin up a sandbox using lite speed and cyber panel.

It was. But now they also have that free version. There is Litespeed (paid when you need more than 1 website) and Openlitespeed (free). If you install cyberpanel it will ask which version you want.

Unusual activity was maybe a high CPU load
They blocked my VPS a couple of weeks ago. It was my mailserver, and I was using it only for legitimate email. For sure no spam.
Suddenly I received an email that port 25 was blocked because I was sending spam.
I was upset, told them that I was not sending spam, and asked them for an example, like a spam email, a reported email or whatever.
After a day I moved to another provider. Till now I received no answer.
Vultr's customer support sucks. Banning and blocking is probably done automatically, and they don't have the resources to answer emails.

They are not dishonest, so probably it is safe. But I would be surprised if you would receive an answer

Vultr and DigitalOcean doesn't provide refunds.
They provide refunds to your account only. For this reason I don't use them. Unless I don't care about the money.
