yes
have done few single variable testing... added wikipedia link, and no other seo efforts, serp improved. removed the link, ranking dropped.

don't buy the concept of "no-follow" not adding any benefits.... at least not when it comes to Wikipedia.

Wikipedia links are valuable. It's bring traffic and good for SEO.

Wikipedia links actually benefited my SEO ranking.
And I created wikipedia links on non-English language wikipedia ( actually rare lanugage), so I think I had no traffic from wikipedia ( at least no related traffic ), but my ranking had risen.

I made a wikipedia backlink about a month ago, no results yet. Still waiting for results in rankings and traffic.

Yes it is, if you add your link the right article for your keyword.

you will get traffic and wikipedia links also bring new back-links so better watch those links whatever they are good for your website or not.

Wiki Pages links are Nofollow'ed So They do not pass link juice to the external pages. But Wiki links are still valuable as it adds authority/diversity as well as traffic too.

Wikipedia is all the talk of the SEO community today.

Check Twitter

If half of what they're saying is correct, then Wikipedia links are the new DMOZ.

Absolutely yes. They send traffic. What more can you ask for? But the thing is - it is extremely difficult to make a link stick unless it is really adding value to the topic at hand. Been there done that. My recipe blog still gets visitors from wikipedia. What i did was - I created a resource page putting a ton of information about some food stuff there. Then linked it from a page on that topic. The link is still there after 9 years and sending traffic.
