Was thinking if i already have contents and high DA backlinks to my site already, would buying traffic from SMM panels help with my ranking?

Yes. Of course it will boost your rank if you bring quality traffic..

Traffic that doesn't bounce right away, actually it scrolls through pages clicks on things and views more than one page, good GEOS not Data center, basically no hallmarks of a bot

Hope you got the point on quality traffic. If you plan to buy, then 50 to 70% traffic are useless which will never boost your rank.

Just a curious thought, if i used 4g proxies and multilogin, do you think I can virtually create a legit traffic? Like I can mimic real traffic

Hell no, traffic from smm panels = Fake traffic. It doesn’t appear on GSC. But in analytics it’s organic :anyway:

As long as from social media you get traffic and engagement, you can see a bump in SEO.
I think there is even a case study made by ahrefs if I remember correctly.

But, for that forget about SMM or simply spamming. You are better off with 1 profile that has genuine followers.

From my experience I see a little bump every time I share something on twitter. Depending on niche see what network is appropriate for you.
I also use social media when I update an old article/category/link structure. It gets thing indexed faster and I can see movement in ahrefs and search console.

I totally agree, social media traffic helps position and if you do it right, you can get results quickly.

meaning getting traffic to my site through social media post etc?

It would resemble traffic from PTC sites which is a waste of time.
Having legit social media handles and investing in their growth can help.
