I have not seen much information on internet, i'm assuming there isn't much competition in this field. Making live auctions on Facebook by advertising your auction can be a very powerful way to make money. I have not experimented it myself, but i would like to see someone try and share the results. I have seen some people doing it and i made the calculations, they must be earning incredible amount of money (they are not targeting 1st tier countries)

What you basically need to do is to buy some wholesale products (with varieties), with a very low cost price (can be imported through Ali Baba) and instead of doing Amazon FDA, you auction them live on Facebook. The people i've seen doing it are selling accessory items. You can do it at home with a camera easily, but you might want to make the backscene more office-like, to give a serious business impression.

How much you are able to sell is about your marketing skills and the products you chose. You can easily start earning 1k a day if you do it correctly.

But as i said i haven't tested it myself, i'm only talking about those people i've seen doing. This might be the train in 2021 some people might wanna hop onto early.

Nice idea, never heard of it. If anyone tested please share results.
Do those guys do fb lives?

Yes, they are live on Facebook, people encounter their auction while scrolling down their feed, those who are interested in the presented product join the auction in real time.

This Live Auctions model has been popular in Taiwan for several years.

1&2 pic is now the top auctioneer, usually online 10K fans join.

Other pics are also top teams now.

Products include daily necessities, toys, clothing, watches, jewelry, food and other niche markets.

The use of prizes requires fans to publicly share the Live Auctions post to the club or profile.

Auction for a few hours at a fixed time, afternoon or night. Improve fans' stickiness.

The team is usually from afternoon to late night, and several hosts take turns

pic4~6 is a big team, there are 5~10 departments & fans page.

Share a large warehouse. Increase market share.

These big teams may sell more than 30K usd a day (depending on the niche)
In addition, there are many small and medium teams or amateurs who usually have 300~3K usd fans online.
Maybe 100~1K usd a day

This is crazy, i wonder how it didn't become a thing in US. Someone should definetly try this method out.
These people you shared are big auctinoneers, but someone can start his/her auctioning at home easily, and since there is no competition in US, business can grow very quickly.

I mean home shopping is basically a live auction - they put a price, talk smack and keep saying there's only a few more buyers and then they move on to the next product. QVC, HSN and all all the variants around the world do well from people depressed with their lives and watching tv or shopping online.
