selling Bidz.com jewelry on CL

I had an idea today but I'm not sure if it would work well. I came up with it because I just sold my ex-fiances engagement ring on CL. If anybody has tried it, please let me know how it went.

Can you buy rings and other jewelry from Bidz.com and resell it on CL for a decent profit?

I was actually doing that on eBay for a while.

It works well, you just have to find attractive jewelry as some of the stuff on Bidz is very nasty.

It was a white gold ring with a 1 carat diamond in it. I bought it about 3 years ago and $1600 and was able to get $700 for it. I was just thinking that the stuff you can get on bidz is alot lower than their proposed value. I probably could have gotten that same ring on bidz for $300 or so. I'm sure the quality might not be as good though.

Bidz has an affiliate program, List an item that is selling, then send them to the auction through your affiliate link. Can't include price though.

I have not tried this, But thought it might work.

yeah, they look good in the photo, til they arrive. My daughter has some of it now lol [4 year old] better than the fake necklaces, but not much.

got some nice stuff also.
