actually there is something I have learned that is new (to me anyway) the COMBINATION of tag words you use effects the results of your vid.


Did an expirement last week. Made 10 accounts with about 80 sexy vids spread throughout them (all the vids were the same 20 vids just rehashed with a little editing here and there). used 4 different set of tags with different combos (changed about 5-10 words per new set). the one above that I posted had the most favorable results by far).


not sure WHY this works yet but I think it has something to do with what the first few words in each tag set having the most weight followed by the next few and so on.

dont forget about google results. youtube vids are the only ones that come up

yes this does and it's very important how you pick them. when i was doing sexy thing i was basically just spamming as much tags as i could everywhere, but when you do it more "white" you will see the importance of having your main KW in the beginning of title, beginning of description, beginning of tags.

I never bothered finding a pattern in tags when i was doing sexy vids because i didn't care that much but when you do a bit more white, and you have vids promoting products or things like this, kw order and "density" plays a major role if you rank with the video on google or not.

dont forget about google results. youtube vids are the only ones that come up

that's partially true. metacafe, dailymotion and veoh rank as well. but the best between all those ranks youtube.

Sometimes putting random tags, at least in my opinion, turns some ppl away from ur video. Whenever i see people doing that i usually think its a scam or some way for them to get more money and subs. Lol i still tried this tho.....

I think it has more to do with Google being soooo integrated into YouTube. Any keywords jump to the top of Google search results....

Lol that is very funny indeed. I uploaded a youtube video once with full nudity and covered it with blur using camtasia. Viewers couldn't see the nudity but they knew it was there. It got a ton of views in a few hours and then Youtube banned me

I'm on the fence about repeating them in the description. At first I thought it would enhance search results but now Im seeing when I use a totally different set of tags it actually generates a lot of views too. have to get off my lazy ass and set up test for this as well

gotta remember there are sites like 4 chan or Ebaums , that consistently do "Porn Raids" on youtube. Porn will always be there.
