Tiktok Journey - First video 9.2M views.

Hello guys,

so not so long ago I decided to create an account for my cat. Basically, I had success before on TikTok with my personal account which I uploaded comedy skits but it was for a Lithuanian audience (I'm from Lithuania).
Had 68k followers in 2 months of work posting daily. But people started to recognize me in the streets and mostly it was kids, and it's annoying, to be honest and I don't like to be that kind of person.

So straight to the point, I created a new account uploaded some of my own cat videos and nothing happened. Literally 400 views and the more I uploaded i got 0 views and didn't know what was the reason.

But like 5 days after I asked my girlfriend to create an account on her phone. She did that and I asked her to upload the best video which I had done. The next day I was going to the office as usual and my GF
sent me a screenshot that our video got 1.1M views overnight. That was really crazy, serotonin was popping into my brain because I never had such big numbers on TikTok. I had videos with like 400k views on my personal profile before but never went over 1 Million. so 7 days in the video got 8M views and gathered around 48k followers. I immediately started to think of ideas about how I could monetize the account and for now, I really want to make this into a full-time passion that can pay my bills.

One of the guys from ViralHog wrote us an email asking If I can sell the license to the video in order to use for their clients like MTV, Discovery, BBC, etc. I said please send us the agreement, but he wrote back with a negative response because our video was edited. And after that I thought that it would be cool to keep doing such videos in order to achieve success on TikTok, I'm coming from a background of Visual effects and I know how to edit videos to make them look believeble.

And I wanted to share this experience with you guys. I want others to see my progress and hopefully motivate others to make their dreams come true!

Okay so here we go:

Current videos: 11
Current followers: 48,2k
Current Likes: 2M

By the end of the month, my goal is to have 75k Followers.
Next month my goal is to strike for 100k Followers.

Also, I'm not sure how to monetize such accounts for the best results. I was thinking about brand deals, but I guess those don't work if your account is about your pet. Also was thinking about affiliate for cat products, but not sure about that either. For now, I just put my paypal.me link in the description and wrote "support me" lol.

If you guys have any suggestions how I could turn this account into profit let me know!

What's best is to link the cat's YouTube and Instagram account and grow your audience there. That's the best way to make a solid earnings. If people love your cat, they'll follow her/him on YouTube, Instagram.

Yeah I mean I kinda got lucky I think with the first video. Because it was such a unique idea to create and people loved it. I tried to replicate my success in the same format but didn't get that many views.
But I'm trying to crack the virality code now, thinking of some of the new ideas on how to make something cool. Also about the deals, yeah maybe you're right, If I focus on the content the fortune will come I guess. I will try my best!

BIG UPDATE:

So basically last of my videos didn't get a lot of views. I'm talking about 100-200 views which is really bad and I started to investigate what might be happening here. So I think I got shadowbanned on that account because one of the videos had a bit of edgy humor and people in the comments were mad and I think they reported my account for violation or something like that.

Basically, my latest videos don't even have a 1% traffic coming from for you page and I did a little research that might be a shadow ban. That's kinda sad because the first video went so viral even other big pages like "unilad" reposted it. SAD LIFE. BUT I'M NOT GIVING UP!

What's the solution for now?

I just bought a new Sim card and have an old smartphone which I don't use, I will be creating a new account today. Same cat content and will try not to violate TikTok's rules and will try to post friendly engaging content.

For the old account, I will wait about 2 weeks and will try to upload another video will see if the shadow ban will go away.

Yes, I've thought about it. Even contacted one of the cat product companies and they offered me a free sample so i can showcase in a video. But for now that my account is shadow banned i won't do anything until my account get FYP views again.

Well, I decided to post my link a bit late. Because in the first 4 days when my video went viral I've got like 260k profile visits which is kinda crazy. Not sure if people would donate for now reason aswell. Just wanted to see what happens if I put that link down there lol.

So remember guys I said that I'll create a new Cat account, but decided to go a different route this time. When I was making content around my cat, it's actually pretty difficult to do that, because my kitty
always doing cat things and you can't really control the cat itself when it comes to video shooting, and that causes a lot of problems haha.

So I decided to create an account in the crafts industry. Basically, I have an idea to create magical edited videos (for ex. you mix two drinks into one and you pour out the mix and something unexpected
pours out like candy). And this kind of content is pretty satisfying I think, yesterday I uploaded my first video. It got 3.5k views but my first video was kinda shit, but for today I already got 2 videos which in my opinion looks way better.

For this crafts niche, I also thought that there are multiple opportunities to cash in, for example, if my account gets a lot of views and if those videos use some kind of products like candy or other stuff I could basically contact these companies and offer them to do paid advertising on my account.

Basically, they noticed that the video was fake, I've edited it so it looked kinda realistic but a lot of people questioned if it was real or not.

Do you use hashtags to get this huge reach? In IG we know that posting with a 0 followers accounts you'll probably get no reach, so people sometimes do shoutouts or F/UF at first to then get some reach and start to ranking in explore or hashtags, but in TikTok you simply get your content ranked without neeeding a initial amount of followers?
