Not really , you have to follow/unfollow until you hit like 15k followers and from then your posts will appear on other's feed so it's slow but it pays off in the long run. Check follow limits and new account warm up strategies.

You can rank pictures high using the right hashtags and marketing but if the picture doesn't look good enough, people ain't gonna like it.
Focus on posting quality/fun content that people will like and then put money on marketing, you will grow irrespective of what year it is.

Its possible,there was a guy doing a lot of work manually and you dont get banned as using app,atleast for him,its in my journey section i think i saw,he did like 1k or so in a month.

Starting from zero is not really impossible but it’s gonna take huge amount of patience, time and work.
