Bookmark in BHW?

Hi,

I've seen countless comments on Gold threads in BHW that says "" great post , bookmarked! "

I believe that this idea is discussed before in BHW, but have you thought of creating a button in every thread, something like " Bookmark " and if you want to save this , it will be saved in our BHW account section "Bookmarks" , I believe that I'm not the only one, but in my browser bookmark bar I have like 300 websites , from forum guides, courses until Gold phub videos. That feature will save a lot of time and I think is not the same thing as "Follow this Thread"... What do you think?

We can watch/subscribe to the threads already. Bookmarks become pointless.

Yes, these days you see people posting that when they're trying to inflate their post count.

Anyway, as @mzonas said, we have the "watch" feature now. You can view all of the threads you've watched here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/watched/threads/all

If you want to clean that page up a bit to make it feel more personalised, I've gone over how to tweak the watch thread page in the quoted post below.

watch threads you can only have them if you post in the thread is that correct?

No, you can watch threads you haven't replied to by clicking that "watch thread" button at the top of each thread.

is watch threads the same as add to fav?

They're threads you've replied to or added to your watch list; they're threads you're interested.

With a bit of tweaking, I suppose you can convert your watched threads page into a "favourites page". To start this process, go to your preferences page and uncheck the "automatically watch threads..." box.

From there, go to the watched threads page and click on the "Show all watched threads" link at the bottom of the page.

Once you can see all of your watched threads, you'll want to unwatch ALL of your threads. There's an option to do this in one click in the upper-right corner of that page

After that, you can use the page as a way to save your favourite threads by manually adding threads to your watch list. You should still receive alerts whenever someone quotes your posts or likes your posts in threads you aren't watching so long as you don't mess with the alert preferences settings.

This is brought up from time to time but it looks like it won't happen. You can create a special folder for BHW threads in your browser bookmarks and you can even bookmark a specific post by clicking on the post #.
