Bitcoin underlying fundamental lies in its usage as a means of value transfer for illicit businesses. Drug dealings, tax evasion, etc.
As long as there is demand from these businesses, the crypto fundamental value will be intact since the bulk of primary usage is met by demand from these underground businesses. They don't care if govt locks up coinbase, online marketplace for trading bitcoins, since they have not been using them since the beginning. Basically as long as there is no control on bitcoin, there is a fundamental demand. This is how I perceive bitcoin from my point of view.

Next time when USD gets stronger, traders who are short in USD may can go for hedging with BTC, if they believes this article.

As far as I am concerned, the only Fundamental or political News which can drive crypto price is some positive news from SEC or new Exchange additions for cryptos or Tokens.

I drive btc when I’m in goog mood eg I received review copies days before and took it to 41k, but then I didn’t receive more so I brought it down. Besides that it works on demand and supply. And now it works on institutional money

lol, my view is its 100% speculation. No USD Rates, political, crude news can drive it.
