Disclaimer: Youtube Algorithm changes from time to time. The info I’m showing here may not be 100% accurate so do your own research before taking this post for granted.

Over the last few years I have discovered a lot of stuff about how YouTube algorithm works and I have an Idea on what can lead a channel to success or bury it deep into the 475th page.

One of the things a channel needs to succeed is to start from the very bottom or with Subscribers that are interested on your content and are actually watching your videos. I have been using this ratio to what leads to better results: Average Views per New Video / Subscribers. The higher this ratio gets the higher your videos will rank overtime.
This is an important note since it can drastically affect CTR too. When your channel has a CTR lower than 5% your video will not by any means show up on Youtube Suggestions or Up next Section. You will definitely lower your Click Through Rate by buying fake Subscribers who do never watch your videos. Don’t chase numbers

not going to help as you are not even building a tribe

how much is a subscriber on yt even worth so buying is just to show off but in reality things are different

If you want to raise a legit YT channel and to monetize it. Buying subscribers is just dumb. In all possible meanings.

Why I should ignore a youtube guru bro?
I got so much to learn from him , sooner or later he will sell a ebook about youtube, price starting from 9.99$.

Look at his username and profile pic... he must know his stuff

I can explain it to you. Most people look at the general ctr, which is stupid, since it doesn't filter the ctr for the specific traffic sources. If you go deeper in the analytics you can find the ctr for suggested and browse feature. And now the important part, youtube features the videos that have a good specific ctr. So if you have a relatively high browse ctr you may get more exposure on browse. Note that this is only a small part of the bigger picture.

In both whitehat and blackhat subscriber counts are very meaningless in today's day and age. If you have people who sub you but never watch your new videos, it's gonna hurt the algorithm. This is because Youtube wants to see sub engagement rates or at least people trying to engage with a video. Sub counts are just a number IMO. What matters more for YT algorithm is overall CTR and watch time.
