Sudden drop after PBN link

Sometimes PBN links takes time to start, so wait for some more time.

Are those 2 links showing in backlinks count? Check the quality and spam score of those 2 PBN sites. If its too bad remove them otherwise wait for some more days. Let it settle down.
 
I think it's too soon for a penalty and it's just a dance. Generally a dance means Google is considering a change in your site. I see a dance on my keywords when working on backlinks so I'd watch it and see what happens.

How are you checking rank...from more than one tool?
 
Wait a while to get a stable result, and also increase the number of links.

You wouldn't have noticed the difference that fast.

Something else caused Google to drop your rankings.
 
3 days later, dropped another 40 positions.
 
google dancing on your domain, it will eventually work.

You can only suspect the PBN after a month. From all indications, it is other source that caused the drop. If your site is not hit in anyway, then wait for 2 weeks to see if there is a bounce back

do another test: send a backlink to a domain that is ranked in 70+ and see the impact. see if you see the same downtrend in serp or not.
 
Nothing, the position stayed dropped, eventually moved to PPC with the PBNs slowly expiring. I think I burned it without adding much filler links.
 
How about the quality of these PBN links? if it is too spammy.. then it might be the cause....
