Google Ads Identity Verification - How does it affect threshold accounts?

Today I've read an article regarding Google Ads implementing identity verification starting on February 6, 2021. Does this have any effects on threshold accounts? If so how does it affect?

It depends on when they make you verify identity. If they force you to verify before serving ads, it will be an issue.

It's for all those running Ads - no matter which business type. Verification will include ID checks, and then each ad will have your name (or trademark) and location.

Even if the niche you run triggers ID verification, Google gives 30 days to submit ID (docs). Most advanced churn & burn GAds users are "done" with a GAds account in just a few days. it won't affect at all, i have seen many time but doesn't really care...coz google gives 30days for verification till then you can finish budget and throw the account hell out of it

Thanks for the info, hopefully they keep it that way. As long as they don't require it on sign up, I'm happy haha.
