Hello,

I want to try dropshipping with 600-750$ but i do not want to open a business to accept payments without even knowing if i can make it work. All of the popular payment gateways require business verification.

Is there a payment method (not paypal) where i can accept payments without having a licenced business? Just to test if dropshipping is something i can do?

I remember seeing a video from a "guru" on youtube saying that he was dropshipping for 3 months before he had to actually get a business licence because facebook ads needed it, but how did he accept payments?

I found a product, purchased the domain, created the website, came in contact with the supplier, created fb page and ads, but i do not have a way to accept payments. Shopify Payments is not available in my country.

Thanks, this is really annoying and unmotivating.

You can register a company in another country like US, and make that your primary residence, and if you can't make it work, you can wind up the company.

If you are starting a dropshipping business you don't need to become a licensed business unless you plan on buying buying pallets of products and paying the business. You can use stripe as a processor but just don't state that you are using them for dropshipping.
Lastly, I have run FB ads and I have a dropshipping site and I never needed a business license.

So i just apply as sole proprietorship and there should be no problems?
Also why not state that it is for dropshipping, they don't like it?

Yeah apply as a sole proprietorship and they don't like dropshipping. Also, there will be a question like this
Fulfillment details
Tell us some basics about how you deliver products.
Do you ship the product yourself?

How long after paying will your customers typically receive their goods or services?
Say 2 weeks

You can also open a company in US with many privileges, while physically being located somewhere else on planet Earth. Doesn’t cost much but indeed does require some budget.

Aside from that, look into Skrill. About a year ago, I had a method to open a Skrill account that you can later use as your Shopify CC payment processor (for those who don’t want to open a company), but since I didn’t have a need for it at that moment, the method got lost in the sauce. Saying this just so you know that there is a way and a friend of mine used it for his Shopify store, as well.

For making couple thousands in few months just use your personal paypal or any other payment of your choice, it might get ban easy but depending on your country you could receive up to some amount of money without major problems. Also most countries have a minimum limit for income taxation, if your income is below that, your government shouldn't give you any headaches.

You can start dropship on eBay. you don't need business paypal to start accepting payments. Or Facebook marketplace.
