Is There An Identifier To Know When a Web Uploads Are Done?

hi guys,

I've been uploading alot of videos lately,
and I can't keep checking back every hour to see if my uploads are done,

so I've opted for using macro bots, it works fine,
but a site I've been uploading too doesn't have like a progress bar for ALL the uploads,

but individual mini upload bars for each file I'm uploading so I don't know when which will be done,
hence I can't set my bot to look for specific identifiers to know when to trigger to upload the next batch of files,

is there on "google chrome" or "firefox" or even using "inspect element" function to find an "Identifier" to let me know,
the page is finished uploading files and the network has stopped? I've scoured the internet to no avail,

anyone knows anyway?
or just throw ideas my way I'll try to implement them!

This usually depends on how the upload is done as there are many ways to send a file to a server with Javascript, but mainly just one way that's popular and easy to do with just plain HTML and that's a POST request using a form.

I'm guessing that this one site that you're having problems with is uploading with POST and with Google Chrome you're able to see the progress bar at the bottom left or right (same place that shows the URL for links when you hover your mouse over them). Check to see if you can see the progress bar there.

But regardless of the upload method you can always write your own script (use it with Tampermonkey) and have it display a progress bar which you can then use the way you like.

There is a bar on Chrome. It's small. Left bottom corner. Should say "Upload XY%...."

I'm uploading to streaming sites like fembed, streamtape, mixdrop etc,

so I don't see the things you're saying. I'll look into it again.

It doesn't matter which site is in question. If you're uploading from Chrome - it's Chrome's status bar.

hi @codemaker it seems I've googled and install some extensions to no avail,
I've search "progress bar" and it seems chrome is only able to track "download" progress,

for "upload" progress it depends on the hosts server,
although it's showing the progress but I don't know which file is going to finish first,

I only need to know when ALL of them is done before activating the bot to upload the next batch,

Depending on how you're doing this, you could just check your account profile/video list to check if a new video is uploaded - if it is, voila you know it got uploaded.

There are limits to what imacrosbot can do.

DUUUUUDDEEEEE~~~~ Now that's thinking outside the box!!!!
The thing is looking for video list to check is that sometimes you don't know what files will finish first! but it's a start, and it's giving me new ideas as what to lookout for!

I just used my web-browsers "inpect element" and switched to "network" tab, whenever the upload is done the network tab usually is blank,
so if "blank" continue with the next batch of uploads~
