Hey,
Happy New Year!
I've been working with a great content writer for the past few months, but unfortunately, he's unable to continue our working relationship due to other priorities. Therefore, I'm looking to build a long-term relationship with another writer with who I can work with on a monthly basis (minimum 10k words a month guaranteed).
My requirements are as follows:
- You HAVE to be NATIVE. Please, do not message me if you're not. You will be ignored. Yes, it is that obvious when you message and say you are native, but really you're not. My business is UK based, and my client is Australia based, so being a native English-speaker is key.
- The right person MUST be a freelancer. I want to build a long-term relationship with the writer. I don't want to work with people who outsource content to others (things usually take too long this way).
- You MUST be willing to show examples of your work, ideally within digital marketing, and health and fitness (this isn't a must, as long as you have a passion/ are willing to learn).
- Always going the EXTRA MILE is what I look for. If you're willing to work hard, there will be more work going forward (the freelancer I was previously working with started with c.3k words a month, and within 2 months, it was c.10k).
- Inputting content into WordPress, as well as images, featured images, meta descriptions, categories, and all that amazing SEO stuff is required. I appreciate some people don't like/ don't want to do this, but I personally don't have the time to do this. Please don't apply if this isn't what you want. I get it 100%.
- You have to be ready to work ASAP (I have work to do straight away).
- Introducing ourselves via a video call is NEEDED. I like to get to know the person and make sure they're the right fit before hiring. There's no requirement to get on video calls regularly, but I prefer it for the first time.
- GREAT communication is needed. ALWAYS. If you're the kind of person that takes 4 days to respond to one message, this position is probably not right for you.
In terms of pay, I'm open for the right person, but ideally in the $25-$40 per 1k words range.
Please send me a DM with an introduction about you (name, where you're from, why you want this position, your experience, and anything else that might be good for me to know), and examples of your work.
