Trustpilot profiles could have SEO benefits now?

Lately I have seen from here and there where people claim that Trustpilot profiles and the Trust Score of those profiles could have some ranking factor.

What are your thoughts?

I think that a few SEO gurus have openly said that few hundred positive reviews on BBB will get you better rankings, the idea in here is that Google loves brands and if you manage to score overwhelmingly positive reviews on BBB then you will also secure better rankings in Google.

So don’t get confused about the “backlinks” these sites will give you as those are mainly worthless, we are talking about something else.

After the May Google update, Trustpilot links started to get picked up by GSC like Pinterest links and some people say that there is a direct correlation between your trust score on Trustpilot and some ranking benefits.

What are your thoughts on this?

Many of my clients that bought Trustpilot reviews are focusing on SEO on their reviews more than anything else.
And in many cases it helped.

Yea of course, reviews are good for seo. Especially for e-commerce and for local seo.

Yes can confirm also trustpilot is very fast in the SERPS and high ranking. As a shop many clients go there and read it.
