Not if you have your own blockchain, faster, cheaper, scalable. If was that easy, loads of random "tech" guys will do. Check Elrond, Cosmos, and related, personally can't even dream at that.

Compare what that guy said with the search engines, anyone can do a search engine as well, that does not mean is better than Google or more popular. The same applies to bitcoin, you can't compete with him, neither ETH, but you can build something like nuclear energy for crypto to help the ecosystem as Elrond did. If you can't build something to help the crypto, it's just useless these days. People do not understand crypto because dives into many technical things that most of us have no clue what really means, but when compared with classic ones, makes sense; or maybe applies just for me.
Same as big wales waiting for bitcoin to stable on a big number in order to dive in, check CitiBank, Cashapp, PayPal, JPMorgan, and so on, they just wait for the market to be steady in order to dive heavily. It Will always be Bitcoin and "others", you just need to look at which others are good for the future.
I`m in the crypto world as an enthusiast for a few months only, if people do not explain to me like to a 7 years old, I would never understand this world. Also, I see yesterday on BHW people talking about a "portfolio" of crypto with 100 USD only, so, I guess it's not the perfect place to talk about it.
Assuming you make now a coin, what you do next? On paper all nice and good, on practice, impossible.

To the contrary, those spending years on their site or coin, will make it valuable...

Doubtful. Bitcoin is slow and expensive to use. It has the name recognition, for now.

Take BHW as an example, try to make a better one, you can spend kkkk and you will not have success, not because BHW is nothing then a forum, but because of authority.
Bitcoin will be the art of the internet in my opinion. Sadly I hodl fuck all, lol.

Excite came before Google. Altavista came before Google. Both were great. AskJeeves came before Google. It was also a great search engine. Lycos, MetaCrawler, and so many others came before Google. AOL Keyword was the first search engine I used, followed by Altavista, Lycos, Excite, etc. But once I tried Google, I forgot about the others. Bitcoin is AOL to me.
