Home page is better i feel. but how do you get homepage is a question. But as long as you get high pa links its beneficial

Home page links are best as long as these are featured.
More link juice if site is cool.

Its not about featured. but Home or no homepage. But any high pa links is good. Homepage featured is good only if its for pbn kind of services. Doesnt happen on general sites.

Inner posts/pages usually has UR0. I think backlinks from them does not gives any SEO benefit.
Unless these inner posts/pages has backlinks to them and some authority.

Short answer: Half true.

You have to understand two elements: reputation of the site (which affects the whole domain/sundomain) and the quality and trustworthyness of the page itself (which affects just the page)

Imagine you have an organization with your 10 of your friends. The organization itself has a reputation, so when one of your friends introduces himself, he will say
"I'm from this ORG, ..."
But then he will start introducing other aspect of himself particularly.

Both, him and you, are from the same ORG and share same credentials, related to that ORG, but each of you separadtely have your own reputation, and even different knowledge and abilities.

Google measures all of this. So you must build your content, your sites, and linkbuild accordingly to all these factors.

It's true that home page has more power. It's going to be one link it's best if you can diversify with home pages and other pages making look everything natural is the way to go.

Generally the homepage of a website has more page authority. So it'll pass more link juice than most inner pages.

The issue is, won't it appear suspicious when your backlinks is from the home page of another website?
