This^^No, it's not enough. TikTok will discover duplicate content by comparing a few frames of the videos with other videos.
Might something like applying an FFmpeg effect would work? No, it's not enough. TikTok will discover duplicate content by comparing a few frames of the videos with other videos.
Thanks, great helpThis^^

how have you been able to verify this?Depends on how different it makes it. TikTok uses a copyscape style database with a % match. If you have a high % match, TikTok will block the content. That applies for both single frame & multi-frame analysis.
Is this method working for you? What re-editing manipulation exactly are you using and is working?Yes, you can use ffmpeg, I recommended it at another thread already.
I would resize it, add some distortion, flip it by 180 degress and such.

that's pretty extreme lol. a literal copyspace for videos plugged in and coded in the algorithm rofl. if tiktok could spend $1 billion USD for perfect anti spam detection they definitely would, they are ruthless, no one gets a free pass. can't have anyone milking just a little money off their multi million dollar behemoth rofl fucking ass holes
I haven't worked extensively with reposts so I have no solution. As with most of the advice I dish out about TikTok, it comes trusted sources inside TikTok, my own research, and knowledge of the industry as a whole.Like the guy above was asking how did you confirm this mate? the algorithm is basically the entire app lol. it's just one big robot dishing out automated "justice" every mili second. which is why i hope that one day the big ole robot goes hay wire and starts dumping on regular users on a consistent basis. hopefully it teaches the developers that a big ole robot may not be the best strategy for an appI haven't worked extensively with reposts so I have no solution. While I'm not currently aware of the scale of TikTok's content matching system (just TikTok content or other platforms too), I know for a fact they have a system in place that uses machine learning to try and make more accurate predictions. Spamming helps the platform train itself.
I would assume they have a shared database with other tech companies or possibly through a third party company but none of my contacts have been able to confirm nor deny that. It seems to be a closely guarded secret internally.
There is a substantial amount of evidence to suggest that Twitter & Facebook share data to stop spammers, and other platform violations so I imagine TikTok has similar sharing opportunities.
People often forget that even though TikTok is new-ish, they have a lot of money and the algorithm is the most important part of the app so they throw huge amounts of money at improving it. That's why they're progressing faster than IG or FB.

I agree but since 2018, the entire leadership structure has been different and, internally, things were grinding to a halt for 6-12 months after the purchase.TikTok is not really "new", they used to be musical.ly until 2018 and had very similar API functions also (after comparing old and new iOS app code). So they had years to learn and patch.

Are you sure?resizing/zooming the video works, then change resolution
Haha, this only proves that original content is also not a solution.I just can tell you I get shadow banned for posting my own OC content because some kinds got faster than me and posted my content and now they think I reposted it. I tried to change different things but most didn't work.
