Do you guys heard about an app that let you buy virtual land - around the world?

It is getting very popular day by day - and I was wondering why there was not yet a post on BHW

What do you think about?

I don't know if I can post the link of it. But maybe some mod will let

Went to "Marketplace" and got 504 Gateway Time-out. I don't think it is popular as even the website itself is not finished.

It is just crashing, too many people inside buying.

Refresh the page and try. They are getting millions of visitors everyday.

The site seems so scammy. Reads like a crypto IPO website except they forgot to put any resources toward modern website design! I wonder if they stole the copy and format from a failed crypto IPO. It's essentially a technology product - how is it that the website looks like a hobbyist's weekend project, and of course the marketplace is unusable still due to 504 errors.

Insane. The more I read, I thought this thread was surely a joke. This is the most bizarre and baseless moneygrab I have seen. I can't believe people are willingly forking over money to "Earth2"

Earth2 is crazy, in my opinion the biggest opportunity since bitcoin, but the dev team did not expect such crazy amount of people interested in it, so I guess the servers will crash for few more days or even longer, but I do not care, Im happy its getting popular.

As I said, project is pretty cool, but veery difficult.

Dev, didn't expect to have all this hype, they basically printing $$$$$ every minute.

From a post of the team, in their discord channel they said that they are afraid to close the server for a while, since people will be panicking.

Someone sold few tiles of Colosseum in Rome, for 2500€. He just bought it for 4.18$.

Also, in TikTok this is a pretty hot content.
