Eyes Protection from PC/ Mobile

1. If you look at the screen for 20 minutes, you must look at something at least 20 feet away from you for 20 seconds.
2. Use lower voltage bulbs and make sure your ambient lighting is about half as bright as the average office.
3. Use an anti-glare matte screen where possible (rather than glass-covered LCDs). If you’re a glasses wearer, make sure your lenses have an anti-reflective coating.
4. Blue light has a short wave-length and is known for causing damage to the eye. Reduce blue light by using specialist glasses or reduce the color temperature of your screen. It’s ideal for long-term use.

I have a DELL Monitor and It has some navigations on bottom part of screen, I change brightness of screen to less than 4% at night + Night light on windows help a lot and at day time I change brightness to 45%, if there is another source of light behind my computer than I prefer to cover it or increase the brightness of screen through navigation.

If you sit 14 hr/day Infront of PC like me then I would suggest to buy blue light blocking glasses without power if you don't have glasses.

I never had a problem, and i've been using screens for 30 years.

You can do exercises to improve your sight, if you feel you have become more close sighted.

Thank you very much, very helpful ideas brothers

My laptop used to hurt my eyes but now I can stay on it much longer once I started using a program called "Iris Mini". You can adjust the amount of blue light your computer is emitting within the program. They also have an "Iris Pro", but the mini works for me.

I would recommend running the screen at 3900K or lower. Lower has more red light and less blue light. Too much blue light can cause problems, if I remember correctly, it may be responsible for snow blindness.

On the vitamin front, you can help your eyes by taking some Lutein and Bilberry. You'll feel the difference, good luck !!

On a side note from what I've read, LED bulbs even the 3900k or lower don't put out much red light and are still heavy on blue light. Research it and protect your eyes within your house.

I'm still using some CFL's because they produce a good amount of red light at the lower spectrums like 2800K or 3200K. But I use the LED's outside or in places I don't hang out much because of the energy savings.
You have experimented a lot brother, I'll try the iris mini

There is this vendor on Instagram I got my anti-glare glasses from. You can check out his Instagram page here for the glasses. His email is at the end of the promotional text below.

What is blue light?

Blue light has a very short wavelength, and so produces a higher amount of energy. Studies suggest that, over time, exposure to the blue end of the light spectrum could cause serious long-term damage to your eyes.

"Nearly 70% of people experience digital eye strain due to prolonged use of electronic devices." - The Vision Council.

Grok Lenses are virtually clear lenses made with a special blue-light blocking polymer that prevents blue light and UV rays from passing through the lens.
