Make a website CONVERT!

Hey everyone!

I'm currently working on revamping my ecommerce site in the fashion niche which will be supplemented with a blog now. I was wondering if anyone has any tips or can point me in the right direction to find info regarding how to create a great converting website?

My current store conversion rate is 0.32% which I'm aware is dismal at best. 99% of my traffic is through my social media channels and paid ads on instagram and facebook.

I pretty much get 10 visitors in a month from google versus the 100-200 I get through social media so I know I need to start focusing on SEO for sure but I'm not converting a huge amount from the traffic I already get either so I know there are some big flaws on the site to address too.

I think I'll probably start a journey post to journal progress but was hoping for some pointers to get me started. Maybe some courses that would have good information or even links to other threads on BHW? I pretty much started up a site because I got kicked off of etsy a year back and never bothered to optimise it. Just considered it somewhere to direct my instagram followers for purchasing purposes.

They land on homepage with pretty picture slideshow and a few bestsellers listed below that.
Menu header bar has navigational items to categories with drop-down menu from each to subcategory.
Footer bar has usually shipping and return policys etc linked
Also have a free shipping over $xxx as header bar with a countdown type feature - 'you need to add $xx more to your cart to get free shipping'

if your Instagram post is of a product I would take them straight to the product page rather than the front page. That’s what they are interested in don’t make them search for it afterwards.

You could even have it automatically added to cart depending on what system you are using.

the two big factors you want to look at are trust and social proof on the landing page. I would go with a testimonial on the top of the page, near the add to cart button, on check pages. Etc.

I have Instagram shopping connected so it works that way for clicks through product photos on IG. Not sure how to add to cart automatically thoough. Clicks through bio land on homepage.
I have a review feed at the bottom on homepage which I forgot to mention. Maybe it needs to be moved above the fold?

I actually appreciate the offer but I've been told the cardinal rule is to never share your site
No offense taken - it's a laughable conversion rate but still has a monthly profit of around £1K in general and £3K during peak months - imagine if I could actually make the site better!
Any help you could offer on here would be greatly appreciated.
I know for sure SEO is something I need to work on which is how I found myself on BHW in the first place and I purchased the guide to link building @t0mmy is selling so I think increasing traffic is a little more straightforward to start with anyway but I don't see the point in increasing traffic without a converting site

Sorry, what do you mean by buy and rebrand multiple handles? Do you mean purchase other social media pages in the same niche and direct towards my brand?
Current expense is around £300/month in paid social media ads. I usually get around 100 visitors per day through social media with no ads running. With ads, it usually pushes to double that.

Thanks for that! There's some good reads in both. Picked up a few ideas already. Don't yet have my brand on twitter but I think I'll add it to my strategy. Just have to figure out what to say on it now
