Hello BHW! BTC finally breaks the $30k mark.

With crypto being hot in the space right now because of the bull run. Wanted to hear your thoughts and opinions on where it's going in the next few months.

Will it crash like what happened back in 2018? and if it will, how low will it get?

or

Will it only go up from here on? :)

No one knows. Nothing can grow all the time. But we don't know if BTC hit 50k than drop to 30k, or hit 100k than drop to 50k. Most people thinks than BTC can drop to 10k or 5k again but IMO it never happen.

My thoughts:
Bitcoin is projected to reach approximately $50,000 by the end of this current bull run (not necessarily within 2020). Of course, this is provided there are no major hiccups.
Predicting time is quite the task.
I don't know any dates, but I do see Bitcoin reaching as high as $50k and as low as $8k (perhaps less), once we see what happens with Tether. It's supposed to be the event that makes grown men cry. It won't last forever, but it will hurt.
So if I had to guess (and yes, this is 100% guesswork), I'd say the following:
March: $50,000
June: $8,000
October: $14,000

exactly.. no one can predict the future.. Obviously there will be drop but there is less chance that it will drop below10k

I think it will never drop back under $10K but it will go down at some point, it can not raise continuously without correcting. Also whales are important factors that we can not know what are they planning.

Exactly... For it to keep going up just won't happen. But do we have an idea of how low it can get?
I expect to start quick downfall to 5K or 3K
This would be a dream. I promise to buy more on the next dip. :P
My thoughts:
This looks very reasonable... How did you reach the number $50k? Want to hear your thought process behind it.

Would be good if this is true. Really want to jump in on the next dip.

Any BHW whales here? Let us know. Please don't leave us behind. Hahaha

I'll take you up on this!

Outta interest, would you take some profits at say $35k-40k or just sit and hope it gets to $80k?

I think there will be a retrace from Feb to May (alts rising during this time) and after that, it will shoot up to the moon. Personally, I will start selling slowly from 50k. 20% of my hodling per each 10k (assuming it could it 100k). I would rather just hold everything until $50k as I am not good at trading!

$80k by the end of 2021. Mark my words!
May the force be with you brother.

Yeah man... What's our profit taking strategies? Was already thinking of cashing out back when it was at $23k. Haha

Any signs of the bull run slowing down? I can't read graphs. :D

From 50000$ to 8000$ would be a whopping 85% price correction. How do you come to that prediction? I personally don't see BTC ever dropping under 18000$ again.
It's not from a price correction. As price corrections go, I don't see it dropping to too far below the previous ATH, floating somewhere around $18,000 - $19,500. My estimate is based on what is very likely to happen with Tether. Once whatever happens happens, my estimate is that Bitcoin and most other cryptocurrencies, will plummet.

Again, the good news is that I don't see it lasting forever, and I believe that it will be the last Bitcoin freefall for the foreseeable future. I think that from there, Bitcoin will be back up to $50,000 as soon as next year, and we'll go onwards from there.

Bitcoin, in my opinion, is the 3rd most valuable digital asset in existence and I believe it will remain as such for a very long time. It will be here for years, and I don't see it losing that rank any time soon.

Once it reaches around $40k, I'd personally recommend considering it, at the very least. I believe it will hover around the area around $50k for a moment, before it begins to retrace back down towards the previous ATH.
