wow, i cant believe the government is this desperate! basically if you dont quarantine for 14 days after u travel outside of canada, you might as well give your house to the government to pay that fine.

Just stay at home for 2 weeks - it's not a big ask.

Unless you have a good reason like emergency hospital visit or something dire, it's the least you can do for the privilege of travelling during a pandemic.

Nearly 2 million people dead globally in less than a year, 46 million reported infected & recovered. In America alone, death count is at nearly 300k and rising everyday.

Haven’t worn a mask since April lol.

It’s not an inconvenience at all, I just don’t feel right feeding the fear driven agenda that the media is portraying.

I’ll wear a mask once doctors and scientists that explain an alternative view point on the topic stop getting silenced from youtube etc...

Until that happens , I don’t feel like I’m getting both sides of the story, therefore am not on board with complying to their agenda.

If you are young and healthy covid can't do shit to you max one night fever and 3-4 days sore throat and lose of smell & taste. Old people and the ones who have other diseases are in risk. You can see even 90+ years people have passed covid.
I passed covid few months ago and only had sore throat for 3 days. All my friends and few siblings had covid and same symptoms.

The inventor of PCR test said himself that PCR tests can't identify Covid19 and should not be used.
However PCR test are perfect for collecting DNA and giving high false positive rates.

Linen cloth masks are not protective, sure there is a slight reduced risk but to have full protection you need some sort of a glass/plastic infront of your whole face and lab googles in your eyes.

Ideally a full face chemical-like mask with bioprotective filters

Skepticism is fine, but it's insane it's gone on this long and I blame that chiefly on the people who refuse to quarantine, refuse to social distance or apply a basic level of hygiene.

I have no sympathy for anyone who flaunts the rules and then gets sick or gets fined. That's the price of bending the law - if you get caught, you get fined - and since this really is a life & death situation, the fine should be severe.

Some of the politicians where I live have been caught saying that everyone needs to quarantine, and then they get caught throwing parties in their summer villas. Some of them had to resign, but the punishment should be worse for politicians.

Let me ask you this. Consider the era before covid. Do you own a car? Do you drive to go to work? Do you go to the beach? Do you perhaps fly to go to vacation? Do you spend the majority of your income on things that have nothing to do about your subsistence but only offer you pleasure? Do you perhaps live on a house instead of a shed you built yourself?

You don't care about people dying from car accidents, the workers dying from accidents to produce all the things you consume (and the lower order goods used to produce the things you buy) or the detrimental effects of pollution (down the line). OMG! The dumbness of this post rendered me speechless. I don't want to argue at the moment, but these are all PRECAUTIONS. You cannot COMPLETELY stop the transmission of virus as you cannot see it and because of its size. But this does not mean you go outside, half-naked, or wearing a bikini (if you're into that kind of cosplay.)
