You know, someone could probably easily look up your keyword simply by looking through the marketsamurai DB to find a kw that matches those numbers. (If someone really wanted to).

Just Sayin'.

How is that possible unless brute force is involved? I'm legitimately curious, not challenging your affirmation.

Brute force is fine. Just write a script to iterate through the database till a match is found. It's a linear time complexity.

I think I'm lost. Are you talking about iterating through millions and millions of keywords just to find the one keyword this guy is talking about?

Nah, nobody wll ever find the KW based on that. Even if someone did, what's the use of that?

It's like hacking, some computers with good GPUs can test up to 15mill passwords/results per second.

Ok I'll take the hazing, I read everything in the forum and no one has explained kw? Or what the kw means, I'll take my beatings first.

Yeah I know, but unless I am mistaken, in order to "hack" this keyword you would have to do millions of searches and compare their results to the ones on the screenshot. Kinda pointless and that's why I assumed that perhaps there was something I wasn't understanding.

So what?? Computers are fast.. It's easy as long as you have the database from MarketSamurai, which you can extract from the program. If there are 1,000,000,000 kw's in the db, then I guess it'll take that many checks. So? No big deal.

In fact I just wrote a test program that does 10 billion operations in under 35 seconds, and my cpu isn't even that great. So if each keyword took 100 checks then it would be roughly 350 seconds.. Wow that is so long..

I think you guys underestimate the speed of computers :).

go for it but it will take lots of work..

Agreed. I have pursued this kind of kw now for 4 months, and it seems like authorities, trust, and age takes part a lot. I have hundreds of BL but not on page 1 yet :( I think you'll not going to easily be on page 1

You would have to be pretty "loopy" to even attempt this. Doesn't it make more sense to use all that effort and find you own keywords? Just sayin...

Exactly my point. And unless I'm missing a huge piece of the pie here, MS doesn't have a database, it mines the keywords in realtime asking Google for them. If it had a database, checking keywords would be instant instead of having to wait and type a captcha every now and then.

Actually... it depends.

If the sites in the top 10 are social type sites, ie. youtube, rss feeds, community type sites., you may be alright... also look at the bottom of the first page on google and look up the related keyword phrases.

If it's a buyer's keyword, why not just try it?

If your willing to put in a bit of effort I dont think it will be that hard to at least get into the top 3.
