Need Your Opinions On Content Lock + DM

Hi guys,

I've been away from IM for quite awhile and never had any success yet (both paid ads and free blogging stuffs).
So now I'm thinking about starting a journey again. I don't have any free money for paid ads anymore, so will be focusing on free one for now.

After reading and reading, I saw that Content locking (from CPAbuild or similar network) is pretty promising to start without expensive investment, but I don't really know if it's really good for 2021 journey. Can anyone here with decent experiences on content locking share some insights?

What I'm trying to do is to set it up like this:

1. Setup a basic content locking with cpabuild on blogspot (with a custom cheap .com domain from coupon)
2. I'm going for a whitehat niche like make money, health, DIY, home improvement, etc
3. I'll create or good tips/tricks compilation and make it as a good ebook as the content lock bait
4. Go to Facebook groups, twitter etc to DM the people interested in the specific topic
5. The guy who took the bait will have to follow my link to my landing page on blogspot and complete the offers before he can download my book.
6. rinse and repeat.

(The reason I choose to DM people one by one instead of building something like fanpage or IG profile is because I think it's much faster to get feedback from people. If I try to build IG Profile, that would take months before I could see some profits in the bank)

Do you think this is a good marketing plan?

please kindly advise! I'm really short on money and would love to make a couple hundred bucks in the next few months to cover some bills.

I'm ready for the tough battle ahead, I have about 8 hours a day to focus on doing this. I've got tired with doing endless loop surveys, app reviews etc as it's not paying well in my country (3rd tier). So I'm trying to find a new way out.

I'm in the process of building the baits, social sites and customizing the landing pages in blogspot. I want it to have chain effect once the traffic start rolling in. I'll be focusing on facebook groups and twitter for now. Everything else should be postponed. After I've got a good result I'll think about other marketing channels.

I was trying to ask some opinions from the content locking experts here, to see if I can get some idea or two. But it seems they're too busy counting their money right now

Seriously you would not know until you try bt I don't think content locking works that much nowadays unless you have a really good thing to provide once people complete the offer

hmm... what about giving out a set of flower pattern accent chairs? will it not attract those ladies to go for it? just like boys looking for games hacks online. I think they are the same thing.

Hey bro, CPABuild banned traffic from email, SMS, and Whatsapp (all messaging apps). Currently only working with CPAbuild. I wonder if redirecting the traffic from email to a landing page before sending them to the locker will work? Do you have experience with this type of workaround?

however im not sure if wether i should make a landing sales page for the ebook (name of ebook = domain) by taking inspiration from gurus who sell their courses (replace ur 9-5? only 100 copies left etc) as if i was selling a digital product/course but its actually the free ebook locked OR the site being a blog with a tab that has what i prevously mentioned which one you going with?.if the latter i wouldnt know what to post content wise. checkout accent media here on the forum for efficient and organic ig growth, yes it takes long but its so worth it. imessaging people is very good but also but wont make you money in your sleep if that makes sense, thats where organic conversions come into play. at least myself i wanna wake up to some conversions

Hi there, glad someone is on this journey too.

I'm planning to convert some excellent video courses in the same topic (e.g. ecommerce) and turn them into an ebook version with my own words. Not the complete one, just describe the big picture, and if they want the details, we can include affiliate links to buy those courses. This will be my bait for the traffic.

As for my traffic, yes, manual reply is really tough. Many will mad at you when you are not adding valuable insight in your reply.

But I can't help it as it's the fastest way to get in touch with real targeted people for free and hopefully from 1000 replies, I would get something like 50-100 people completed my offers. Twitter have 2400 tweets limit per day. so I'm aiming to get 500 replies done manually on each day to stay under the radar.

Until I can earn around $200-$500 after covering some bills, I will start venturing into IG and and stuffs.

Right now is pure tough battle. Also, if I still have time, I'll spam facebook groups reply as well.

thats also something im gonna do. the ebook is gonna teach how to do something, and that something has an affiliate program to it

also we can put more locked content in the ebook. example.

"in the abandon cart sequence, you should give the customer a 10% off valid for 24 hours only"
you can get the exact message I personally use here -> LOCKEDLINK

i'm going to be changing the tempalte of the lockers and frame as if its its a "captcha for human verification" rather than using the default link. i've seen people doing that and it makes total sense rather than "complete survey to download"
