Hey dude, so how's is it going so far? Saw your other journey, pretty sweet.

Thanks for checking. I made a few thousand dollars more in this - all through job invites and minimum bidding. I'm bored of Upwork these days and involved in client work outside Upwork :D

Nice, hope everything goes well!

Namaste my IM Brothers :) This is Part 2 of my successful journey: $20,000 side income working one hour a day

My goal now is to make $150,000 by Dec 2020. My previous journey involved working alone. In this new journey I will collaborate with people of different skills. I've figured out a way to get noticed by clients on Upwork, get replies to my pitches etc.

The plan is to JV with people who are smarter than me. I will source lucrative projects through Upwork, we work together, and share the income.

I've bought the Upwork Plus Plan for $15 per month. With this plan, I can see what other freelancers have bid for the project, and it will help me pitch more strategically.

I will post the earning updates as I get paid. Wish me luck :)
Bro in 2020 still that $15 monthly plan works ?

Always great to hear this input from others as well, especially since you're doing so well. Would be great if you shared your pitching skills and tips. Also, if you don't mind, what services do you offer there?

Hey mate,

Have your acheived your goal of 150000$???? Would like to listen about your journey ups and downs and how did your achieved it.

How is this going if you don't mind asking? What's up with the $150k goal? Still going for it outside of that marketplace?

I reached this goal long ago. No longer actively bidding on Upwork, but once in a while if I see a nice and easy job invite, I respond. Made a nice $5,500 last month from a gig I had responded to back in Jan. I outsourced this o someone else for cheap.

good luck bro, following ur thread and journey.
Thanks :) I don't work much on Upwork now. I have a crypto marketing agency, and mostly getting leads from referrals/old clients. I've realised that all that Upwork hustle was only to get started. Once you get some momentum and have saved enough, you should start looking for higher paying work outside of Upwork :)

I might run a thread someday on my agency journey :)

Hey man. This journey was awesome. How did you learn the skills for your early upwork gigs?

Thanks, man. I followed "fake it till you make it", overpromised, over-delivered, and learned on the job. With every gig I worked on, I learned things that could be applied in the next one and so on. Over the months the experience and learning start to compound, and so do the earnings.

A bulk of my money came from email marketing, lead generation and closing deals for commission [this made me the most money]
