How much do you pay your virtual assistant?

Couple years ago I was flying to Chisinau, Moldova quite often. The basic wages were $100/month and $200/month was already an ok wage. The problem is - lack of English speaking people (in my case I need tech support people answering customer tickets in English).

.. as for Venezuela, there is so much information like this https://decrypt.co/26928/venezuela-raises-minimum-wage-petros-2-dollars-usd . I just wish the borders were open (lockdown) - you just get in a plane and see everything yourself. If everything is good - you rent an office space and hire whole team there. .. though maybe these are just fantasies. :?
@Roger Marquez might be interested in the job as he stays in Venezuela
It would be great hearing his opinion. tx
Sadly, that´pretty accurate.

If we take into account people work more than 40 hours per week and take into account other bonuses and wager, people average monthly salary can reach $10 per month but way below the $300-$500 average minimum wages for other Latin American countries that´s why millions of Venezuelans have left the country in the past 3-5 years.

I am one of the "lucky" ones to have studied in one of the best private high-schools in my city (Maracaibo) and, went to college and got a degree there (economist).

I am also fluent in English and above average in much other tech-related stuff but, the vast majority of the people here aren´t that lucky.

But yeah, not everybody makes $100 per month.

I see VA services here for $250 a month 40 hour work week

$2/hour

Guys it actually depends upon the skill and experience of the VA.

You cannot pay the same price for a good writer when compared to some crap cheap writers.

So it actually depends. But i would say anywhere between $250 to $500. It actually varies from person to person :)

Used onlinejobs.ph and always started off around $300/mth. One of my VA's gets triple this now though.

It's so hard finding a decent VA, you basically have to teach them everything.

that makes me sad. I'm actually looking to hire a VA right now and I'm feeling kind sad seeing all these people with masters degrees charging $300 per month.

I was looking for a VA job since june. Still did not find any. I only charged 5$ per hour. Nowadays people hire people with no skills at all sometimes. Makes me sad to think that, I know data entry, graphic design, customer support, social media and any tasks you can through at me. My English is fluent, still I don't know really where to look for jobs as VA or customer support. Can any one help me? I only work remotely.

Ya, same here. Some websites only accept US VA, if you say you are from another country they will reject you, no matter how expert you are
It's something else, I tried upwork but couldn't get any luck. Hopefully someday I'll get.
