I am trying to scrape some custom footprints with Scrapebox, however, I can throw the keywords in, merge the footprints, hit start harvesting, and select an engine with proxies or no proxies and it just freezes and stops responding.

Anyone have suggestions on wtf I'm doing wrong here?

Are you using Scrapebox 2 64 bit version or Scrapebox 1? Can you post a screenshot of your settings?

Does it say "not responding" or

can you move the window around, and everything appears normal but the count does not change and clicking stop just greys out all the buttons but letting it set for 10 mins its still the same way?

Also windows or mac?

and what version of scrapebox are you using?

Screenshots welcome as mentioned above.

So, I either get a not responding or it runs through without any actional number update and then red marks it all with 0's on PC

Do you use Avast Antivirus? If you do disable it, and try again.

So not responding just means that windows is too busy to paint the gui. Often if you leave it then it will finish normally, because usually scrapebox is still running in the background even though windows can not update the visual interface.

However it could be security software or other things causing an issue. So you can always add an exception for the entire scrapebox folder in all security software and firewalls.

That said, the red and 0s are when it completes a keyword but there are no results. This can be due to being blocked, or proxies/ips blocked etc..

If you go to help >> show error log >> harvester - what are the errors?
