Hi,

Wanted to get some advice on how I go about monetizing a website I won in an auction. It has two words : "wise" and "web". Are there any services being offered from within BHW Marketplace for such services?

Did you get the domain wiseweb.org?

lol, yes... I put in a low bid, lost it, but apparently the winner rescinded, and here I am...
Lol. That was me. I won by $102 on Godaddy auction but at the time of payment my paypal was freeze and hence I couldn't make payment to godaddy. So, they passed it to you.
How much did you pay by the way?
I know you auto bided upto $100.

If the domain is having traffic the simplest method is parking it with the registrar, if there is a monetized parking option with that.
Otherwise, if you don't want to swap it for more money, you need to add some content to it to have any value, and to be able to monetize it.

This sounds interesting. How do you buy valuable domains and sites from GoDaddy on auction.

I know but because you can't write in private, I can't share here because I don't know the rules.

I got it for $12. But then had to pay another $35 fee for transfer, so all $50.

Thanks. How do I research what type of content will go with that domain? Or does the domain really matter?
