I decided to Write Blog Posts Myself - English Non Native

Hey guys, if there are some of you who've tried blogging but have very small budget, you'll know how hard it is to put enough content out there.
That's the reason why I decided from now on, I'll try my best and produce content on my own.
However I face a colossal obstacle , English is not my native language!! so I took a decision to improve my English by taking some online classes and I found engvid.com.

What do you guys think of engvid.com ?? is it worth my time and effort or I should look elsewhere?

Haven't heard about engvid.com, however, my advice would depend on what the current level of your English is. Anyways, reading a lot of articles on your topic of interest to enlarge your vocabulary will help in any case. You will get better idea of how written, more formal English sounds and what structure of sentences are mostly used. Also, try thinking in English, no matter what the topic is, even in everyday situations, think directly in English, without thinking in your native language first, and then translating. Everything comes with practice.

Thanks, I've learned English at school and I like to read a lot which is very different from writing.

Thank you for the suggestions, I'd rate my level as intermediate. I just watched 1 video lesson and I'm happy with what I learned.I think I'll start by adding more words on my existing posts and hope I get better with time and be able to write my own articles from scratch.

Best of luck to you! Your tactic sounds good to me. Having a large vocabulary is important. Also, try rewriting your own sentences with more sophisticated words, replace some of them with synonyms, phrasal verbs, idioms, etc. By the way, have you chosen niche topic about which you plan to write?

If you find yourself using the same word over and over again to describe something never underestimate the power of middle school English class wisdom ... bust out that thesaurus . I still play around with them online from time to time just to get a few more words in the arsenal.
