So I'm watching some interview on Youtube, and it's a guy talking taxes. The guy is a piece of shit, but he's intelligent and really explained taxes well.

But then he gets to a point where he touched on the tax situation as it relates to my country and the freelancers/people that work online.

He started by saying that for example in Africa there should be incentives for people to work online, as they have tons and tons of smart young people, but there is still not enough infrastructure to support all those people, and so giving tax and other incentives to those people to work online is a good thing.

But in my country, with an aging population, and with so many young people leaving daily, and with no immigrants wanting to stick around, the government needs people to work offline. And so it's a tricky situation for the government. They can't incentivize online work as they need people to work in offline firms and companies and all that, in order to keep the country running.

I've seen people comment here and there on Facebook about how our government actually wants us all to stop working online and to go working for firms offline and get paid some miserable salaries. I thought they were full of shit, it made no sense. But now it does make sense! Son of a bitch!

Having realized things... I've made a move to awaken some blood ties through my grandma, will probably be pursing a second passport soon through my mom's side of the family. And also will be pursing a third passport which I abandoned 7 years ago because I didn't understand what options having multiple passports will offer in this life.

As far as my country is concerned, I'm reminded of an ending to a movie.

Where I live (Venezuela)...

• The minimum wage is <$10 per month
• Highest inflation rate in the world - Over 3,000% annually
• Despite having the biggest oil reserves in the world, people have to wait in line with their cars for 12-24+ hours to get a full tank of gas
• Despite having one of the biggest natural gas reserves in the world, half the country don´t have access to domestic gas
• From the past 5+ years, we´ve suffered one of our worse electrical crises in our history. In march 7th 2019, we went for 110 hours straight without power. A few days later, 60+ hours. And, ever since we experience power shortages every single day and we spend anywhere between 2 to 8 hours a day without electricity
• This year marks 10 years straight with at least 20,000 murders
• And we also have one of the worse and slowest internet connections in the world (According to speedtest.net)

And, I can go on and on but these are by far our biggest issues we face every single day.

People are too divided to make the government do anything.

And even if they accomplish something on one front, the government will just hit on another front and it will all equal out.

Shit. Slow internet and no electricity... And i would imagine lack of access to payment processors would make making money online hard as fuck.

Even in your country though, which is arguably the most economically difficult place in the world today, you still keep working to find the opportunities to succeed that you can though. It's the winner's mentality, many people don't have it.

It doesnt have to be insta. You know, you do it with a good friend, you guys playact for a year or two, you get it, done.

Of course youll have to put up a hell of an act. And of course you best do it in a country that isnt too strict about it and wont take forever to give you the citizenship.

Also it would help to have some money for this. You know, make your friend's of the opposite sex time worth.
