Just realized that any story view offers out there only offer story views but the impression count doesn't go up with it. Is there a way to get both? Need to show a client that their story is reaching more people than it actually is.

Probably not. Try using hashtags in stories as well. It helps boost views over stories. You could match background colour to that of text to make it look indistinguishable. Can't find a reason how it's going to help.

Do you mean stories on Instagram or FB? For IG, besides hashtags, I would suggest using questions/quizzes options with relevant content and then posting their replies. It is more engaging and helps with impression

Followers like questions because they would like to know more about the account they follow. Today it is more interesting to watch ordinary life. Become a friend to them, be yourself, and engagement will start to grow

Maybe try using polls and questions on the story for engagements. That way you'll be able to measure impressions
