Heard bitcoin went to new high. The economy is horrible and sales are down. I am looking for new forms of profits. People are raving about bitcoin. I am looking to invest in bitcoin. Any tips or suggestion. I never invested in stocks or crypto before. Not interested in people selling me courses.

You only buy Bitcoin if you want to save money. If you have business ideas or investment plans, don't think about crypto. What I mean by this is: if you plan to slowly gather money to buy something, then buy BTC or Gold so governments don't devalue your savings. Don't keep your savings in dollars, euro or any other fiat currency.

Scripted bots or gambling. Nobody actually knows how the price is going from day to day. It's such a new market that any news can upset the whole system.

Your safest bet is to go long. Invest in it, if you don't plan to make profits in a month or two. For you to trust the technology, you need to learn how it works and decide for yourself if the risk is worth it for you.

People get rich with BTC by buying it when it's NOT POPULAR, holding it for some time, usually few years, then selling to new batch of greedy people.
Reason you care enough to ask today is high price and promise of easy profits. Everybody is making daily returns and you want to be a part of it.
Asking about BTC today when it breaks ATH after 3 years is fine, but buying today is worse than playing roulette.
Hype never lasts forever, and bear cycles are very long. Accept you have missed this cycle, and plan your purchase in several months.
BTC is streaky, volatile asset, very speculative, prone to get slammed by taxes or bans by government, and most importantly overbought.

So if an asset goes up for 40 weeks in a row, with only 2 minor correction weeks, your decision is to buy? Nobody has the crystal ball, but game theory still applies, you need a lot of people to lose badly before you can correlate price with value.

You need to get in touch with media reports as well. Just one report for you "JP Morgan planning to throw B600$ in BITCOIN" just imagine what happens next when they do. "Crypto is future industry".......In 2016, no one thouht this shit will shoot to thousands dollars and it is now!

JP Morgan certainly won't telegraph their purchase to some outlet. That's stupid. You can expect them to do the opposite from what media tells you. So when JP Morgan calls BTC a fraud in 2017 while secretly buying it, I can believe that. They don't buy today, they are either already in big time, or not at all.

I agree with you somehow. The things going around us is stating CRYPTO will lead future industry. SMELL THE AIR!
