Do People Really Get Paid for Liking & Commenting?

I've hired someone to chat in a discord server to make the discord server look like it had activity. I have also paid for someone to create an account and start threads on a forum that my friend started but it's tough to grow forums online. Those we're the only two times I've hired someone chat around online.
I noticed people hire to like and comment on social media post too. Well, it's all the same

What I know is that people are hired to manage social media accounts - i am just not sure if this covers chatting and posting.

I don't think it would be worth the time unless you live in a country where a dollar is considered a lot of money. If they offer more than a few bucks it's probably a trap. Also, be careful about asking for work here. It's considered selling and you can't do that without becoming an upgraded member.

Still, with comments the key is to be able to persuade people to do something. Just spamming for the sake of spamming is just absurd.

There is almost all types of work available on the internet. You may join freelancing platforms like upwork and explore the opportunities. There are thousands of jobs posted everyday on upwork.

I don't think they ever pay or want to pay. I have seen many traps online where they offer an easy money, just liking, commenting and other stuff like that and you will be paid bucks. NO. It is not an easy money. First they will ask you to like at least 100,000 posts and then around 50,000 comments and they will then offer you $10, which in the end, they will never pay.

yes, there are many micro workers jobs available. but you need to work a lot to get some money. Its not just like comment and like, they will provide some descrptions which you have to follow and if you miss something, they will not pay you. for example, go to youtube, search a keyword, click the video they have mentioned, watch it for minimum 2 minutes, then like it, comment and share.
I have seen these services like 6-7 years ago. The idea behind it was like todays panels. It's like a task system. You got customers and users. Customers gave orders to the providers for likes follows etc and providers put this task on the system and be like hey, follow this acc and like this post and you will recieve x amount of money but they are usually not letting users withdraw before a selected amount reached. I've also planned about creating same system nowadays for panels but it is hard to maintain these systems. You need to have a lot of customers in order to keep your users. Because if you give 10 task everyweek with 10c per task, people can make 1 dollars a week and they won't bother doing this. But if you can give a lot of tasks the system should work without problem.
