Thanks. It is really appreciating. I am going to start my own venture on YouTube and I am learning a lot from you.

@Tom5876 Nope, all my 11 video editors- i've taught them how to correctly use copyright video so we dont get hit by content ID claims.

Wait...there is a way to correctly use copyright videos so you don't get hit by content ID claims? I don't suppose you can tell us how? I'm going to assume it means either 1) contacting the copyrights holder and getting permission, 2) only using it for less than 10 seconds and either editing it some or talking over it with relevant information to make it acceptable?

This has been my main struggle. On an experiment YT channel I started last year, I was basically using someone else's content but I rehased it and re-edited it with success for the first few months! I grew to 20K subs in just a few months with videos hitting 1 million views as my highs and average ones hitting between 100k to 700k views, and after it got monetized, I started to make a few hundred dollars a month but I knew it was most likely not going to last long. I was right. After about 6-7 months I got de-monetized for "reused content". I had a really good strategy and idea behind it and I posted my journey on here somehere called, 'YouTube experiment gone viral'. This was only my experiment channel. My main channel is monetized no problems now and is an old account since 2007. I only started to monetize a couple years ago when I found out about it LOL. All the previous years I was just using youtube to share my passion / hobby of making movie videos tributes but of course none of them could ever be monetized. Since I realized about monetization, I stopped making music video tributes and started trying the types of videos that can make money like reviews, commentaries, analysis etc.

Finally started 3 days ago to upload, thanks for inspiring me. Created my first channel, made my monetized yt and adsense accounts ready (3 account, 1 for starting, 2 for backup to future projects). At first i want to say its really hard to manage process.

- Started with finding script writer/content writer, video editor, voiceover artist. I did more than 30 meetings for that.
and its not finishing... When the day comes and content was ready, voiceover artist says he/she got another job, when i found new one, video editor says he/she need minimum 1 week to complete.

So when you outsource everything, its really took so much time and effort.

Anyway, 8 video ready, uploaded them. Some of them took 1000 views, some of them 4-5 view. I know in my topic there is a huge potential but i dont know why it dosen take views.

So after than this, i have some questions for you weng.

- should i give sometime to these videos ? in a one day will they get discovered and try to get views ? how many days/months should i wait ?

Thank you.

Heya! So to used copyright content:
- Use only 5-10 second segments of the COPYRIGHTED clip
- Add voiceover
- Try to refrain from ever using copyrighted audio/ original audio

What you can also do is filder YoUTube videos by Creative COmmons whenever you do a search and just use those types of videos.

I think you can do; sounds like you have some experience!

Youre following my footsteps! Finding the correct people is 100% imporatnt.

I think youre off to a good start as well!

The only thing I would never do is post back to back very similarly related videos. So for example, I wouldnt post a lebron james video, and then another lebron james video.

Other than that, You can post daily, every other day, etc. Whatever you can handle works! The most ideal posting rate is 1x/ day.

is there latest update regarding your journey? I saw many users say congrats to you, but I don't know why

Amazing journey buddy. I’m reading this from the beginning. One question, for your viral videos, were they getting the most views from the search results or from the suggestions?

Very inspiring! Did you buy any views or are all your views organic/from optimization?

Hey OP,

Nice thread. I'm watching it!

Since I’m considering starting the same YB journey thread I was wondering why people never disclose their channels?

I'm asking because I was thinking to disclose my once I open the thread.

Thanks!

I'm one of the inspired one's.
Been following you since some time and I want to say a big THANK YOU.

Because you may lose your account and have your niche and all plans screwed. Look on the youtube sub forum and look where someone posted another man channel and you can see that channel no longer exists.

Lose my account? Why?

It doesn't make any sense. That way you could destroy anybody’s channel on YouTube.

If the channel doesn’t exist that doesn’t mean that guy is responsible for that. Maybe the channel is terminated because of the TOS violation etc.

How many videos on your biggest channel?

Over 200 videos on my biggest channel! I usually start gaining traction anywhere from 1-40 videos posted.

There HAS been one time where i started a channel and it instantly blew up from the very first video lol.

Amazing journey buddy. I’m reading this from the beginning. One question, for your viral videos, were they getting the most views from the search results or from the suggestions?

So there's three main sources of traffic. I ll rank them in order from "Least viral potency" to "most viral potency"

1. Search traffic- Ranking for search terms. steady stream of traffic, which is still good to have, but not so viral.
2. Browse traffic- Your video appears in the home page of other people's and your subscribers. This has led to some viral videos.
3. Suggested traffic- This is the banger right here. If you appear in the suggested of a very popular video, consider your video bound to go viral. There's a very strategic way to make your own videos suggest each other and that's how I put people into view loops.

Very inspiring! Did you buy any views or are all your views organic/from optimization?

All 100% organic.

If you want channels to look at though, look up Watch Mojo and TheTalko. It's honestly no different other than that they're bigger than me haha!

You are most certainly welcome!
I've got 2 updates coming in january to end off Q4.

Oh, u didn’t understand what I was saying. I asked that because I’m concerned about security reasons.

Is it safe to disclose your channel here on the BHW forum?
