Depends on the book. Lots of videos on YouTube show how to do this. Lots of leg work and picking through books to find the gems.
Yardsales and thrift stores are good places too.
You can resell anything but people often underestimate the value of books. Books usually have a barcode right on them and if not they have the ISBN number so easy to look them up and see what they are selling for on eBay and amazon.
