Hello :D

I moved one of my sites to WPX hosting. My site is getting 5000+ visits each day. After 10 years of using so many hosting companies i've never been more satisfied with a service then now.
Great support and really fast servers :D
Here is my site speed after moving my site to wpx. Before it was around 85-87 with interserver vps

Awesome speed @AdmiralKunka. I have like 3k visits a day and I am currently using Namecheap shared hosting.
I've disabled all my plugins in WordPress because that's what Ezoic suggested to me. Now, I am only using their Site Accelerator which costs me $20 per month.

This is terrible I guess. My question is, if I transfer to Wordpress Namecheap hosting will I get a better speed?
Can you guys suggest me something better?

I use generatepress with W3T cache and wpx cdn

Normal wordpress site with wprocket and a CDN set up can make it equally faster without the huge monthly overhead

9 out of 10 "bad performance" come from the user lack of knowledge on how to optimize the server-side (VPS) or the website (or both :D).

It's not enough to opt for high-end self managed VPS..( of course with outdated hardware & dial-up connectivity.. you can't do much to match the performance of the newest)

If the user doesn't know that PHP 5.6 + WordPress is X3 slower vs PHP 7.4 + WordPress.

and doesn't know how to optimize Apache/NGINX/Litespeed & MySQL .. Plus the lack of CDN .. WP caching plugin and good WP theme.....

In that case.. will be better for the "user" to pay that extra $$$ for Managed VPS "or" WordPress Hosting and get the job done.

But you are right! You can achieve the same performance or (better) for less $$$ if you know what and how to do it.

With that said..if a driver don't know how to use manual transmission .. he should opt for car with automatic transmission for a better driving experience & safety.
(Cars with automatic transmission are more expensive).

Guru reseller pro, wp rocket and rocket cdn gives me pretty decent load times and not far off 100% on gtmetrix. But I must admit, I don’t have anywhere near 5k concurrent visitors

If I did, I’d probably do the same as you and opt for wpx as I’ve heard nothing but good things about them.

Indeed they are very good and they have a great support as well. I joined after a few members suggested it in another thread

It would be much easier to see results, if we started to share the full performance report like this $5/year hosting with BunnyCDN, so people can see some real numbers.

I'm surprised that you just said that... like you don't know how it goes.. innocent threads

I´m just to old, to care about what others think, I wan´t others to have options other than mainstream solutions, so that more members can learn that it does not have to cost a lot of cash to get started cheaply. But I really have nothing against WordPress VIP solutions either, just letting members know about their options, and that one way is not the only way to go.

To those who get such high score on GTMetrix, what is your score on www.dotcom-tools.com, which test several locations? gtmetrix has server only in the us which makes host location also a factor
