Hey guys,
After learning a week or two about crypto there's one question that I can't find any answer to.

What do you think will happen to all the crypto coins out there when every country in the world will decide to switch their own money to crypto and create their own coin?
What is the interest of people to hold coins that are not belonging to any country in the world beside privacy or illegal use?

Banks can print / issue more USD or EUR. Nobody can create more ETH or BTC out of thin air. That's the advantage

Just got back in to the game with XRP and Powr. XRP should give a good return if left longer term and I have always liked the Powr project, makes me happy to be a part of that.

Thank you for your reply, how is that advantage?
Countries want to have the option to print money

The more you have of any item, the less valuable it is. Supply and demand. You don't want others to devalue your assets without your consent.

Ok, but what happens when USA &/or EU decides to makes a digital Dollar/EUR and ban and make illegal all “competitors” aka cryptos?! They can do it, just like when USA made it illegal to own gold.

p.s. China is doing just that
China moves to legalise digital yuan and ban competitors with new draft law”

What happens is that you'll be out of the losing asset before it crashes, if you're smart, or you're gonna lose some money if you're not. Is that a reason to forfeit opportunities if and until that day comes?

How can you be smart about? no one can see the future.. maybe tomorrow the US government will suddenly decide that it's illegal

I think the future belongs to cryptocurrency, but as the commentator said above, it's very scary that the whole world is dependent on old people dressed in expensive suits in Washington

Banks and corpotations will buy all BTC from the market and normal people like us will have hard times to buy it. Price of btc will skyrocket

Great thought, if everything goes as you say, this is a great moment when we need to buy cryptocurrency (I mean when banks start buying cryptocurrency)

Every country can create and decide to switch to crypto but it wouldn't be a public blockchain, government cannot be transparent. So people will still prefer btc and ETH etc

Crypto will never take place for fiat.

I don't know really. Not all countries are positive to crypto.

What makes crypto different from "digital" coins created from nations, Crypto is Decentralized. A digital yuan or digital dollar is like paypal with different name. They can freeze your account anytime they want and they can track you. With crypto they cannot freeze your account. You can use bitcoin without filling your name and you can generate infinite bitcoin address you can use. If you are using Monero it become near impossible to track you.

20 to 30 years from now you will wish to go back to this day to invest.

Things like that don't just happen suddenly one morning. There's ample time to read the signs, if you're paying attention.
