My first $160 in CPA Bing Ads

Hey @fxkool thanks for your comment. Yes, each campaign is a manual campaign. As for the clicks, it comes down to research and in most cases I don’t want to pay more than .30 for a click. I do realize that this may not put me in the #1 position, but I’m usually “always” on the first page.

My target goal is for a position no lower than 3. So in regards to your comment that the ad is not propelled to the most visible area and I’m missing out on most of the clicks/conversions I would disagree.

I’m still highly visible “when” the ads are shown and still above the fold regarding ad placement. My best campaign is .25 cpc and generated 400 clicks in the first 7 days of this month already and that campaign in particular is converting everyday.
Great job mate, keep it up. I am gonna go ahead and mimic your manual campaign strategy if you don't mind, it reads really well.

Interesting thread, subscribing and wish you luck! I used to play with bing ads too (fake accounts when they used to work), a product with similar payout, and I broke when we well. I think you have to find high paying product that is in not in any of those popular niches - finance, weight loss and similar. Also people said that bing is used more by older people who know only internet explorer... This should be considered as well when choosing a niche

Thanks man for subscribing to this thread @traged. I absolutely agree that you have to find higher paying products. Something I'll mention when I update my progress since last week. I also agree that you have to factor in that Bing is used by an older audience... definitely not the 18 to 24 crowd from what I've seen as well.

12/7/20 Update

1607379672060.png

Hello everyone, I’m back with my weekly update:

I ran the update from 12/1 to 12/6 since I didn’t have the data to include the commissions made on 12/1 on the last update.

The data shows me that I lost $9 on the week. So what I’ve done is I’ve added some additional campaigns targeting higher ticketed items hoping that this will resolve my issue of not breaking and/or net gains. For one campaign I have, each item sold will net me $18 but the problem is that I need to construct an ad well enough to get conversions faster too.

Isn’t that always the trick right ? How well can you write a campaign so that you get the click “and” the conversion.

Note: the commission amount does not reflect the 22 products that I haven't received commissions on yet. Keeping that in mind, I may have actually made a net gain, but I'm not working off of imaginary numbers. Just working off of what data it "currently" shows on my affiliate dashboard.

I’ll keep grinding away because clearly there is potential on this advertising platform. But you have to come up with a winning strategy and thus far I don’t think I’ve gotten there yet because as reflected this week.. I lost about $10.

So even though the numbers look good as seen in the screenshot, we’ve got to stick to the data.

No additional money on the CPA campaign but in all fairness I am adjusting them again. I just made another change. My cpc is outstanding on one of my CPA campaigns as I’m still getting a cpc of .02 but without conversions, does that really matter ?

No it doesn’t.

So I’ve stayed within the same niche but changed the product somewhat so that the cost to the customer is less and the CPA is $40.

We’ll see if that helps and it’s a digital product now so that may help with conversions. Time will tell.

Nice thread.
I am willing to pay you to help me setup :)
If you are interested, please let me know on DM.

Bing is definitely not to be ignored. Spending around 650 monthly in Bing Ads alone and generate an income in Affiliate Marketing of around ~5300.
4650 is nice profit. Now spending all my time to scale this up because this is done with only 4 campaigns running. Imagine running 400 :-)

Wish you all the best of luck.

if there's something I'm learning is that tracking is not pretty.. but man it's helpful to get some idea as to where your conversions are coming from and by knowing that you can quit spending on traffic that isn't converting and focus on what is converting.

why is tracking not pretty?

Thanks for taking interest in my thread. It's cool that you'd like me to pay me to set you up, but I don't think I'm good enough yet to be taking on clients or anything like that at this time.

I'm still in the learning stage.. falling down and getting back up.

However, I truly appreciate your confidence in me to even approach me with this, but give me time to build up my skillset. Maybe I'll package something that will help more than just one person at a time that wants to learn the platform and maybe I can share my experiences that way.

Thanks again for following this thread and expressing interest in my help.

That's amazing.. and with only 4 campaigns. Out of curiosity, how long did it take to get that to that level for you ? Will definitely keep working to get to that level.

I haven't figured out a ton of it yet.. just what I need to know at this point basically, but it's not easy and it's confusing when you start out with it. So when I say it's not pretty.. I'm just saying, it's not plug in play.. it definitely takes some getting used to and you have to invest time and lets be honest.. most people don't want to do that if that makes sense.

hmmm.. okay thanks

with tracker u mean for example "Bemob", right?

I’m new to this forum. Sorry for the noon question. So your promoting Amazon products on your funnel page?

what's your set up btw? you are doing pre lander and on the page is a button/link that goes to the CPA offer?

from what i understand you need to use a newer CPA network where their links aren't banned or blocked yet, otherwise bing could pick up the link on your lander and disapprove your ads

is bing security system much more shit compared to google? one would think that, it's bing. i wonder just how far you can abuse the ad platform without getting banned or blocked

Do you also work with Amazon? or another affiliate network?

No worries on the question @Lulu33. I'm direct linking.. I haven't built any funnels for what I'm doing.
