Hello there, i am new to this forum.
I run a Facebook Page, recently my posts have been acting kind of strangely. In the last month i have noticed a huge increase in post likes. But the strange thing is this, i post and then i watch the likes go up, lets say to 800 likes. It stops for a number of hours, and then all of a sudden it starts to rapidly increase again, almost as if i have posted it again. This has been going on for around a month. Now at first i thought someone was playing a joke on my page, or trying to mess up my engagement with fake likes. So anyway i have been checking where the likes are coming from and it seems all over the world. Not just the places you would expect fake likes, quite a few are coming from the U.S.A. Anyway i decided my best bet was to try my best to contact a few of the people who had liked my posts, now it tells me they do not like my page which really got me wondering. I have managed to speak with 2 of the people who liked the post at the moment it suddenly started to increase again. One told me they liked my page months ago, but i could not find them in my settings under people and pages and one told me and even showed me a picture that it was in suggestions, but i do not pay for any kind of advertising. Does anyone here have any experiance with facebook and understand what could be happening? I have been running a few pages for a couple of years but have never noticed anything like this before.
